Hey I live in Milan, great video. I’d like to add tho, torre Blanca is the 6th highest point in Milan actually, not the highest. However it does indeed offer the best views, as on a clear day you can see not only the entire Milano skyline but even as far out as the alps.
Hi Rok: I don't understand why you don't have hundreds of thousands of followers as you are articulate and thorough in your descriptions. The maps are a great way to get oriented! Thank you! I'm headed for 2 months in Europe coming this September and October.
Thanks for your kind words of support. Wow, 2 months, that is nice. September and October are great months as it is still nice and warm, but not hot. I wish you an amazing experience.
@@rokgoesaround Thank you! Let's hope that all those plane cancellations/etc on both sides of The Pond will done by September! I'm really enjoying all your helpful vids. I'm glad I've got a couple of months to go through the ones that apply to my needs, Rok
I wich i do have all this inf before i visited Milan last week. Here is all you need to know for move around and enjoy the beautiful Milan. Your channel is great! Keep the good work.
Simply the BEST guide for Milan and by extension, I am sure you bring in this high quality in all your videos. Wonder how i didn't come across your channel before. You deserve to be up there in the top tier of UA-cam tourism influencers. Wish you the best. Subscribed for sure 👍
I would highly recommend staying at the hotel Verna. It was a very pleasant last-minute day after some highly delayed trains. We loved it very affordable and very high-quality. Very amazing customer service and great standards.
Compliments on a very good guide to Milano. I visit often, as I live not too far away on Lake Maggiore, and your video is accurate, informative and very well done! Lots to do and see in Milano, endless exhibitions, concerts and theatre as well as the famous sights. Some of the newer areas are interesting, too, such as the Tre Torre and the area near Cimitero Monumentale, Porto Garibaldi and Corso Como.
Thanks for Milan.... It's a bucket List item for me as well as pretty much all of Italy.... You have also peaked my interest with your videos of Croatia as well... Thanks again
I appreciate ALL your content. We're going to Milano in October and I'll use your recommendation for the Navigli district to surprise my wife with dinner along one of the canals. THANKS!
Hello, interesting, cool video, beautiful places, I watched it with pleasure, friendly like, run in for a visit, I will be very glad. Good luck to you and all the best🤗🤗😍😍😉😉
Thanks, this has been a very useful video. I'm making my first trip to Milan next week. I have prebooked the Duomo and Last Supper. Regarding the daily transport ticket - is this validated at the turnstile at the metro station or is there a separate machine?
Thanks. Glad it is helpful. For entring metro station you are right. There is a turnstile. But for the tram or bus you need to validate the ticket on the bus or metro.
Tipping is not customary in Italy and surely not required, other than that, the video does a good job of condensing the basics of the city in just 10 minutes.
Hello! Can I get a reduced ticket for the Last Supper if I am 25 years old? On the site it says people between 18 and 25 can get a reduced ticket but I do not get it if it is until 25 or if 25 is included :D I searched all over the internet and in FAQs but did not find an answer.
hi, thanks for the video, was wondering how the public transport works as it is still confusing to me. how do you validate it and if within the 90 minutes you are changing from bus to train do you validate it again?
Torre Branca is NOT the highest point of Milan. Not even in the top 10 If you meant that it's the highest public observation deck, that's not true either, as Palazzo Lombardia opens its deck to citizens every sunday
I’m born and raised in Milan, as experienced traveller I kindly suggest to not consider July and August to visit Milan it could extremely hot there transforming your trip in a nightmare! The best periods to visit the city are definitely October march April and may. Also other autumn and winter months are not bad if you are not afraid of a little bit of cold (not so much anymore).

ROK, can you use those old trans to see many of the sites you mentioned? Thanks,
There are certain sections you can cover with old trams, but not all.

Any recommendations for what to do near malpensa airport? I will be landing there for a few days before heading to campus
You could visit Lake Maggiore or famous Lake Como.
what were the 2 rental cars in Milan you mentioned in your video ??

Bună! Cum ai intrat, cu bilet redus sau fără? Și dacă ai luat bilet redus ti-au cerut buletin?
How’s Milan during Christmas? Is there anything open? Dec 24/25
Wait... The Last Supper is PAINTED ON THE WALL?!?!??! 🤯😱 I thought it was just a regular painting on canvas...
I know... I had the same reaction when I found out 😄
I wonder if it is safe for alone asian guy to go watch a football match in San Siro? Is that area safe?
I think its OK, just don't wear the colors of the opponent team.
hi, thanks for the video, was wondering how the public transport works as it is still confusing to me. how do you validate it and if within the 90 minutes you are changing from bus to train do you validate it again?
This means that you can use the ticket you’ve bought both for the underground, the tram and the bus for 90 minutes
Visit Milano 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Milan is nice, except no public toilets. We spent 50% of the time looking for a bathroom.
Torre Branca is NOT the highest point of Milan.
Not even in the top 10
