- Oh hello hello hello. This video was an absolute MISSION to put together, I very much hope it was worth the anticipation. Today we venture back to the nightmareish Cynosure facility in regular free roam to check out this location in its entirety. Of course, pay attention to out of bounds areas, this should be a very interesting look at what you can never normally witness.
0:00 - Intro
1:27 - Maxtac Crash Site
3:13 - Flooded Silo
5:06 - Collapsed Tunnel
7:55 - Facility Entrance
10:00 - Unusable Area
12:05 - Cynosure Maze
15:03 - Chase Area
17:37 - So Mi Ball

The fact that there is so little "scrap" content to explore in this thing tells me that the development of this was very tight and organized.
Absolutely I think it’s really obvious that phantom liberty was precise in its development
@@SirMZK I hope this will continue in the future for CDPR. Cut content always breaks my hearth, expecially the scrapped quests in The Witcher 3
the missions being quite linear also certainly helps! this whole section reminded me of the original Half-Life, similar creepy underground vibe...
@@moonknightish This seems like a good sign that they've learned from their mistake
@@c0hink176 I wouldn't call it a mistake though. It's more like the team was trying to put in as much as possible , when they realized that the deadline is closing.
Our shared PTSD from the robot dog pursuit is the other thing you're navigating.
Had to do it with my headphones off to do it without folding under pressure 😂
dont think theres been a mission in cbp2077 that had me as scared as trying to avoid getting hunted by a robo-dog
I'm usually a huge pussy with horror but the ai was so bad and the small little hidey holes that the bot would easily see you in just took me out of it, I couldn't take it seriously
First time I played it I screamed a couple times lol
Bro i felt the panic in that "let me out please!" As the door was slowly closing 😅 man they did such a good job with this part, i hate it so much lol the smallest detail like the doors moving slower than normal made that whole sequence feel like a living nightmare
this ending was so unexpected lmao i was flabbergasted the entire time
It's rly cool how this entire facility is legit deep under the ground beneath NC. I legit felt that in game that it was deep on the earth, which added to that atmosphere!
The area with the cars is likely the car park. It's the staff entrance and it's been collapsed in, as you can see rubble and steel girders. Essentially the front door to Cynosure was knocked out.
Exploring Cyosure is the definition of PTSD
Props to CDPR for making a pro game clipper that got the game spoiled to himself, shit himself even after the quest is over.
Yes but I did play through this game organically :)
Fun fact, You can use the Appearance Manager Mod to spawn the Cerberus everywhere, but Cynosure is the only place where it actually makes any sound.
first time i played this mission i was very high so i was so lost and stressed out, i would enter a room to forget the entire layout of the room i was just in... took me forever to complete the mission lol
I had this stone cold sober gg
The large rooms (where the storage crates are located), are so big so there's space for the black shadow/background. That gives the illusion that the room is even bigger than it actually is, this is all done to make the facility look massive as it's suppose to be a massive operation
3:24 For those unaware you can in fact jump this gap fairly easily if you hop on the railing and do a sprinting double jump to the other side. If you climb up the stairs on the other end there is even a loot box hidden there.
I made the jump but didnt look for the box lol
Forcing myself to do it again, missed the blackwall quick hand... Remember I first came to this mission at midnight n I thought be an "easy n fun final mission". (Aged well) Yh as soon as lift went down, Alien Isolation vibes started and long story short, I decided to play the next morning once I saw the robot 😂
It’s crazy how this place and mission was done so well that it’s still scary to walk around in even after it’s all said and done
the truck in wich Songbird was transported is the same where David put on the exoskeleton
Its not. This one is MaxTac, the one where david klepped cyberskeleton is Arasaka
As soon as i saw those vents, i my Alien isolation flashbacks kicked, i knew i was fucked before the robot came out
The diagonal lift and core scene really reminded me of Akira. Between that and the Ghost in the Shell spidertank fight, this DLC is such an homage to science fiction anime. Thank you for exploring Cynosure and discussing CDPR's tricks!
It also reallyyy reminds me of the inside of the Magi system in Evangelion, the one Naoko Akagi(sp?) is in. That’s what I thought of as soon as I walked into it in cyberpunk.
13:26 there is actually a shortcut in this room that will bring you past the locked door so you don't have to hack the other 2 terminals to proceed.
You have to climb the ladders, be on the highest balcony and than you can slip into the vents, there is a little scripted event with the robot passing you, but that one is pretty easy to hide for. If you proceed you will enter the area where you have to run for your life.
a LOT of people missed this and it's a shame, because it's arguably the most terrifying part.
i literally jus found this for the first time while getting erebus
This was one of the most suspenseful parts in the game. This game needed a few more missions like this.
IIRC, at the 3:50 timestamp, inside the silo, if you walk up the stairs, there should be a shard and some loot over there. The dev's left that for us to eventually find.
Its pretty cool to seeing this part. Especially since the rest of the map has alot of cut content or shortcuts. Just goes to show how much the dev team matured and were able to create such an optimized area.
I still find it insane this area is completely optional depending on the path you choose. Now that's quite the player choice.
I liked the Akira'ish entrance into the vault and the core.
It is nice to walk around this area and see the detail - as my eyes were closed the whole time during my playthrough ;)
I love these videos!! thank you so much for doing these!!
Thank you! I was looking for revisit footage 😊
Thanks for taking the time to make this 🙏 really enjoying your videos. Not all the way through yet lol
Goat video the people have been begging for this one(im people)😭
Thanks so much for covering this since i requested it on a couple of other videos, i know you disliked the mission but it made my day to see an area in game i wish i could go back to.
Holy shit, its 5.22 am and this mission still gives me PTSD after completing it more than 2 months ago. Was really waiting for this video, thank you so much for making me paranoid again, I hope we will see the Dogtown first entry route review from you
this was so fun, thank you!
That diagonal platform lift at 9:07 is soooooo OG Half-Life!
Oh...it took me a solid week to finish that mission, as soon as I died to the Hell Spawn robot, I would Nope out of the game.
At 18:10 in the mission, V is supposed to make their way down to the door way and in the red chamber area, V would momentarily black out then come to inside the sphere next to Songbird. So I think CDPR just made the decision of saving that few man-hours (minutes) of world building time to completely model out that bridge.
I love your channel !
It loves you too
Did he just fly into Somi memory house and fly away? DUDE IT WAS THE ONE SINGLE MOST INTRESTING THING HERE AND YOU SKIP IT! 22:00
ur not missing anything. its like barely one block that looks like Brooklyn, NY
I made a whole vid exploring this area but yeah it’s tiny, not a lot to see
Sorry @SirMZK, I really thought I was subscribed, Made sure of it today. Love your your stuff choom, keep it preem.
The Arasaka Tower Arcade level is one of the few underground places that de-spawn if you don't interact with the arcade machine. Maybe you can try some modding or memory editing so it doesn't then make a video exploring it. Might even find a new secret who knows lol
Funny thing is that the way the robot works is a carbon copy of the Alien from Alien Isolation. I'm not even sure if it is not plagiarism.
I haven’t played isolation but I hear the ai is much much better than what we have in cynosure. This robot is pretty dumb
@@SirMZK The robot seems completely on rails and scripted. The alien on the other hand is unpredictable, it sometimes backtracks, patrols random routes, and can even check in hiding holes. I've had literal nightmares while playing that game, and had to restrict myself to only play it in the mornings.
@@mummifiedgamerYou're playing a horror game in the morning? Hope it's not as my version of morning around 5-8am. If so, well.. that's sounds uncomfortable while still being groggy
@@mummifiedgamer fun fact, the alien in alien isolation actually learns and adapts to players patterns and behaviors. One of the best horror games ever
i played this mission about 9 times and know every location where i have to go to, but still that robot scares me to shit every damn time!!!
"Maybe you where supposed to be able to free roam in the testicle? " 😂😂😂
“Where there’s absolutely piss and poo in your pants”
Should be the slogan for Cynosure. Real.
"Cynosure testicle" 🤣
I was so scared in this 😂😂
3:30 if you actually jump over here during the mission it gives you some kind of reward for making the jump and an achievement i think
We all got PTSD after that mission
Was hold move having the final boss fight of a huge dlc not even be fight lmao but I loved it was creeped out the whole way through
Everyone has PTSD about a big ass robot… clearly never did Zero hour in D2.
Tr3-vor is true terror.
“Cynosure testicle itself”😂 so god damn funny hahahah
If you have double jump or charge jump and air dash, you can make it to the other side of the bridge and if you do you can parkour up to the other level and grab some tier components and i think a skill shard of some kind from drop lockers, i can't remember if the shard is there or not.
Glad to hear that I wasn't the only person scared shitless by this mission. Needlessly scary in this otherwise not scary game... except that one mission with River. I had no idea you could damage the Cerberus - it grabs you so fast I never even tried. Did it ever catch you from behind and just stab you through the chest?
Where did the scenes with Songbird's youth take place? Can't remember if the player was teleported to those places or if it required loading a whole new place.
it was making me laugh so much how you kept scaring yourself by mentioning the robot 😂😂
It's good to feel you're not all-mighty sometimes, but in case of Cerberus it's somewhat odd. V takes down it's big brother ten times Cerberus size a few quests earlier, wipes the floor with Max Tac, casually mows down gangers, cyberpsychos, corpos, police, mercs and even Adam Smashed can't be safe in V's presence. And if V is in a particularly bad mood the entire garrison of Arasaka tower goes down. What do you mean I can't squish a small spider?
1st time im in Cynosure and im not scared of that metal f... :D
the folders falling gave me the irks
6:30 The section of the collapsed tunnel is a security checkpoint for entering cargo and logistics.
11:45 My best guess to the large warehouses beside the lore reason is because it lets the ambient fog hide the back wall of the cube without you being able to see it first.
Making the room seem significantly larger even with its size.
"I have turned off music but I don't know if it still remains" how does that work
I think the Blackwall ost comes under sound effects rather than music
there was abit at the end where it looked like where yo were with so mi in that apartment
this part of the game did not spook me nearly as much as i thought it would. it really was only slightly scary when the bot chased me. and im not one to play horror games at all.
Yeah it’s kinda like the first impression and chase sequence was horrendous, until you realise the robot is dumb and had repetitive behaviours. Just becomes a chore
I played with mods to hide from the robot. Almost on purpose so I could learn the area, and so I could play it a second time with no mods so I could properly soil myself hahah
Grand Moth Tarkin shouldn't over feed Princesses to the Death Star Interrogation droids.. see what happens when he does !
i hated that mission so much omg xD
i need to ask...without dlc, this place its something? who this building looks without dlc?
Ooh very good question. Having a guess it’s just not spawned in like most of dogtown, but it would make for a cool exploration.
Robot was bad design. Insta kill monster outside of a horror game.
Bro do the Victor ending
Sooooon
It's a shame I can't finish this video till I side with Reed on my next playthrough
Is it this dark during the mission? Looks like a pain to walk through.
Hands down one of the creepiest missions I've ever done! Hated it, won't ever be doing it again, and it gives you a really shitty new ending.
Surprised Cerberus wasn't still spawned in the control room as that's where it "Dies" at the end of the mission. Maybe Militech had already removed it...
Yeah I was fully expecting it to be waiting down there. Praise the lord it wasn’t otherwise this would have been a very quick video
I never reales Play scary games, and I genuinely was shitting my pants the whole mission
Can you enter Militech Cynosure facility after siding with So-Mi
be thankful the elevator platform event doesnt work. Because I'm fairly certain, this also triggers that damn robot
Jesus don’t say that
Did you really call it the testicle 😂 😂
I literally shit my pants here 12:35
UA-cam providing the top 360p gonk quality lol
Too early evidently ;)
what mod you using to roam like that in air
Free fly from nexus mods
@@SirMZK thankz
Reminds me of the ending of Half Life 2 Chapter 1
360p gang
cheers youtube
Bravest English man
I only played the So Mi route wtf is all this
9:37
Get to the point, too much talk.
Maybe the point was the friends we made along the way
