- We've finally completed our tour of the badlands, what a pleasure it is to finally leave this wasteland. In order to commemorate this occasion, we're taking a trip back to Yucca seen only in the prologue sequence of Cyberpunk 2077.
Join me for a look at this locked off area once again.

The underground barbell is the most exciting thing there for sure
There is a glitch that persists in all updates up to 2.12 -- sometimes when I quickload I spawn with this exact barbell attached to my head; it follows my head movements, literally as if it is going through my skull. More rarely I spawn with a smaller dumbbell attached to me in the same way, and sometimes with an entire car on top of my head. When I look up I start to move very fast forward, and when I look down I move backwards. I don't know if anyone else had this glitch.
That barbell might be acting as a marker of some kind for map developers.
2:12 that's the same layout as Rivers sister house, tough I think that layout is a older version of it since Rivers house has one more bedroom.
Ya, specifically Randy's trailer
As an American I loved your apology lol
Pronounced Yuck-ah and probably modeled after Yucca Valley, CA, which looks marginally more livable than the one in the game.
Yeah, the "life path" should have spent some more time there, almost as if it were a real backstory. But no, we leave as soon as we boot up the game.
Bottle of water was an amazing bit! & I actually just replayed the nomad version to explore this town … makes ya wish they would keep adding onto this game! It’s so emotionally rich, right up to meeting Jackie just down the road.. wish the devs knew just how much they could do with this 😃
It's highly unlikely for them to add more stuff but not impossible. The last time they said they were finished with content updates, we got a functioning metro system and the ability to use the radio anywhere shortly after.
there ought to be a mission in the main game that takes you there, something happens to Panam to compel her to go back to the Nomads but we never learn what - it ought to be a mission that you ride shotgun for Panam doing a smuggling run to the town and back and this goes sideways and she decides to go back to the Nomads because of it
I miss the unblocked section of fence you used to be able to sneak through. Before they patched it, you used to be able to sneak back through to this town from Nite City at any given time.
I always wanted to go back there to show that Sheriff what for.
As someone from Worcestershire, I lost it at that intro.
I greatly appreciate your sauce, goes very well in a beef stew
you can still get there after the prologue there’s a section of wall that is low enough to jump from on-top of a car and then walk over to the security gates and jump over from there and you can even call your vehicles once you’re on the other side
2:14 isn't that layout pretty close to the one for where river's sister lives?
Hope your holidays are going well!
It’s been an experience for sure
I can only speculate that Nomad V was only able to visit the Outskirts of Yucca. I'm speculating that the road that goes west supposed to go deeper into Yucca and the main Town which was not included in the game and won't let V travel further West since (s)he was told to leave.
There are a few items scattered around the cell tower you climb, but it makes sense that there really isn't anything there, as you don't keep anything from before the Jakie montage
Im sure the yanks will forgive you after the bottle of water bit. You got good PR mate
my american synapses firing as he says "bottle o water" lmao, love the content bro 🤙
This one is pretty distressing. It's a visible chunk of the map, it's sorted into small business areas and residential, it's clearly at an important travel path heading south-east or south-west into Night City, and it's surrounded by several Nomad/Reaver camps, and yet not a single person walks through it and no one uses it beyond a single quest. No Badlands expansion seems like a total waste of free money for CDPR, who still retains a fanbase willing to shill out $40 per expansion for some reason.
Fear and Loathing reference. Nice
Badlands is living proof that bat country is real
Thanks for the video- @sirmzk - hey have you ever done a video for the area outside of the Atlantis club during the Johnny flashback? (The night city with the red sky)
Would have been cool to have had a mission with the Aldecaldos where they take over the town and fuck up the sheriff guy that was there during the nomad section.
I did see someone get back to that area in another video, The only thing I do at the beginning is pick up jackie, drive back there and run over the people. lol.
Loving the Cyberpunk 2077 cut content, maybe explore Lizzie’s Bar? :D
Absolutely on my list
The interior of the home on 2:35 is the same of River's nephew home
I didn't realize you can't go back, never even bothered trying to go out there again.
PS5 - you can jump over the border crossing to have a look around. Plenty of videos showing how to do it. 😉
Don’t know how long i spent trying to find that town again
Heh. I'm an American watching your content from Asia.
Great vid, have u ever tried or thought about downloading v1.00 from steamdb and go back to the areas you’ve already explored to see if any cut content was different or accidentally left in in the original version of the game?
Yes absolutely, it’s something I really want to do. The issue is getting free cam to work with 1.0, chances are it won’t be compatible
@@SirMZK aww, I didn’t think of that
@SirMZK The best you could probably do would be to see what version was out when the mod first came out, it could still be a much earlier version.
Or maybe even better you could try and reach out to the original person who made the no clip mod and ask them if they could try and make you a version for v1.0 or 1.1!
You never know... 🤷♀️
You can still go there, theres a hole in one of the walls which you can climb through
Yoo-Kah enjoy the apology btw lol
Those are trailers and trailer parks.. ;)
Huh. I only picked the Corpo origin because that makes the most sense storywise, but I didn't know there was a whole town outside that border patrol area. I always thought the nomad starting area was the same neighborhood as River's sister's house.
How does corpo makes the most sense storywise?
@ Has the best dialogue, and the Arasaka employee origin fits into the story naturally with how much of the game is centered around Arasaka tech and family.
@@ShadowBaneling I've always felt that streetkid made the most sense, especially after Edgerunners. You're broke and constantly being reminded that the corpos rule NC, stomping on all the people on the streets. It also more closely aligns with Johnny's background.
@@BlueOvals24 The Riches to Rags story makes more sense to me. V had it all and then lost it big time because corpos are cutthroats. It fits the anti-corpo theme of the game better because V has a choice to tell Dexter he wants to "pay back" Arasaka during the prologue.
@ShadowBaneling It's been a while since I've played as corpo, forgot most of the dialog options. Definitely need to give that background another playthrough. I guess it does tie in better from V's perspective. But from the player's perspective, we only see that Corpo lifestyle for 15 minutes. I never needed Max Tac, I didn't get to spend any of those corpo eddies, or drive a Rayfield as a corpo. Beyond the AV ride, we don't get to experience enough of being a corpo. I also feel that way about Nomad (even though that's the background I've played as the most). So when V loses his corpo livelihood, I don't feel anything. Then during act 1, you are pretty much a streetkid. Taking on gigs, side jobs, and working your way up to the big heist. So imo streetkid flows the best for that first part of the game. Corpo V and Nomad V have only been in NC for 6 months, how are they already preem mercs? But streetkid V has spent their life in the city, their lives didn't change a whole lot when they met Jackie.
Bo’oh o wa’er😂 love brits
Back in the day, before any major patches or updates, there was a hole in the border wall you could climb through. There's also an npc selling hot dogs but I don't know if he still spawns there.
Yep! Used to go driving outside the map proper for what felt like hours, it was massive. I remembered driving by those massive off-shore facilities you see in the distance and all the way reaching the highway leading out from Northern Oilfields. Was going to try and circle the whole map if I could but they patched it.
I don't know why but driving around the edge of the map was fun, I tried going over the mountains with different vehicles but I usually stick to bikes. I'm on pc so I might try it again.
You can go back there 😂😂😂😂😂
Actually, you can go back there. It's empty, however.
it should be opened up after the heist imo
Nomad is my chosen head cannon.
I wonder if anyone is making a mod to unlock this place
War Chester Shire
1:39 "The The, The" cit
I didn't think it was a nomad town?
I suppose it’s not, just a town used in the nomad prologue. But you know, naming UA-cam videos is hard sometimes
Bottle of water 🤣🤣🤣
First video of yours I have seen but. Yea there is a TON of cut content when it comes to this game. A very upsetting amount of cut content.
It's pronounced Woar-Chester-Shy-Er!
Wash your sister sauce??
And „UNLOCKED“ WHAT??? 😂😂😂
0:17 lol im from germany xD
Btw, it’s pronounced you-ka.
Yeah, you sound more like one of those aging english rockerboys from the 70s and 80s
Backhanded compliment but I’ll take it
You can kill Andrew Jones, they actually made it easier (though less fun) after 2.0.
The difference between yuca and yucca is Linnaeus' fault.
Yucca isn't that a type of plant ?
@@90lancaster yuca and yucca are both plants
Ah so is an Englishman trying to say "a Bottle of Water" the equivalent of an American constantly failing to pronounce the word 'Mirror' or 'Era' in anything approaching a legible manner. Good to know
I tried it he's correct too. It comes out like 'Boell of wahah' for me too.
That's not a nomad town.
Um, it’s a town from the nomad intro so… I guess it is?
The police officer that gives Vee a hard time at the very start of the Nomad origin intro clearly hates nomads and goes out of his way to give them a hard time. Nomads don't live in that area, they're wanderers. So it's clearly not a nomad town just because it happens to be the starting setting for that path.
@@ChiefSmackahoLLCThis. It's quite clear from our dialogue with the sheriff and mechanic that nomads are unwelcome there. It's just a trailer park/small town, no-one there is a nomad.
This is just begging for a good modder.
Why the hay do you asume "set decorations" have interiors?
The fact you used cuss words after discovering out-of-bounds structure structure 3:50 are hollow, just speaks volumes of just how ignorant you are to game design ... Why do you expect objects the PLAYER only views for less than a second to have fully fleshed out interior spaces ?!?
Calm down homie, it’s for those who are wondering if anything else exists. It’s not all about me (although you clearly want it to be)
