Enjoy the video!
Marius, I appreciate that you include the outtakes because it shows you aren't perfect the first time, but more importantly that you really care about the quality of your videos as much as you care about the quality of your woodworking.
How cool would it be to see Marius and Wandel working together on something big? I love the quality aspect when it comes to Marius. Its always neat and clean and properly planned
Wandel doing teamwork? That would be fun to watch. Especially the parts where Matthias is offered some constructive criticism. Hopefully Marius then won't end up the same way as Mathias' mice and wasps did.
In that universe it would be curious to see Matthias running Marius through the maze system over and over however Marius, a methodical learner and planner, could well quickly turn the table. Yah, better they work alone.
When I was a kid I never could have imagined the most satisfying sound in the world would be the 'Thunk' of two pieces of wood joint perfectly mating
Your workshop looking super co-ordinated now with all those matching drawers. Love the quality of your video's!
I like the look of the laminate against the natural wood color!
I appreciate the outtakes that show how much work you put into your videos and projects, getting everything just right.
You are getting better and better.
thanks for making woodworking videos. woodworkers generally dont appreciate it if we hangout in their workshop and just stare
You know Marius I think your joinery is the best i've seen on UA-cam.
Always great watching your logical approach to a project. I hope your studies are going well.
I just subscribed to this channel and have watched a few videos. I enjoy your style. Very well-edited, no unnecessary production glitter, just informative and sometimes humorous. I really like the methodical approach you take toward all your builds.
Thanks man, really appreciated
Always love the outtakes and always wish I could work as fast as your speeded up sections....oh well, back to snails pace 👍🏼😊
I'm consistently impressed at how relatively easy it is to cut joints on the pantorouter. I should really upgrade my table saw first. I should really upgrade my bandsaw first. Yeah, I'm probably not going to do either of those things soon.
Klasse - super Arbeit und sieht toll aus. Vielen Dank fürs posten
In the five minutes of the video, when he used the clips, I almost went dizzy ... the crazy, very good my dear Marius, I live in Brazil and I'm always connected in your videos ...
You are awesome at the wood work, and very funny at every video, thank you so much!
Marlus: Great video of using the P-router. Once set up is adjusted for fit its pretty fast!
I am jealous for your tools but you deserve to get them for free. Great workmanship and video. Glad i found your channel. Regards from Hamburg
I like your tablesaw and workshop you do great woodworking.
Always impressed with your skills Marius. Love the humor you always inject, and I'm always looking forward to the next.
man that's some serious tools u got going on there!
Very nice build. I will have to put a Pantorouter on my wish list!
Another great video from you Marius. Well Done.
Barry (ENG)
"got some tearouts on... all of them" lol. subscribed.
Toll was Du da so alles in der kleinen Werkstatt machst.
Great job Marius.
I like your accent buddy. I'm following your channel just for that! Not really, but your narration is very good.
Brilliantly done my friend, love your videos.
Daumen hoch
lg Rene
Very nice Matthias!! eeehm Marius
I really like the style of these videos and the outtakes just show how much time you put into them. My only wish is that you get a lapel mic (and wireless kit, maybe) so we can hear you better from across the shop
Nice project as always... and thanks again for the outtakes... so we don't forget how tedious filming your projects must be some times! I love those and I admire you staying that calm... or maybe not and you edited the really good parts away? ;)
Very good job! Try to rub dry soap to the bottoms of the drawers to slide easier.
another great video. Well done
There is a lot of stability in the joinery but the bottoms are just glued on. Maybe a recess inside the drawer frame on which the bottom could sit would be an improvement?
that machine is the best!
I thought those were very nice drawers and dovetails using the Pantorouter! My problem is that if I put stuff away in drawers, I have to search through many of the drawers for a few weeks/months - haha.
on the outtakes I was waiting for a "Focus you fuck"
Or DB Blades xD
"FOCUS YOU FUCKZ"
I know that guy.. haha
Ah, good old AvE
These are exactly the kinds of outtakes I have. I just can't freaking talk. Oh, and that's for someone whose primary language IS English.
Greetings from France!
I like your work
Nice job! 👍
To help prevent the plywood from separating, it might help to cut most of the dovetail on the bandsaw so the dovetail bit is cutting less material
Very nice!
very good work. Thx
great video!
Leave the out-takes in. We all do these things when wood/metal working.
yay new video
Thanks for the videos. They have a way of making the rest of us feel real amateur. Not surprised you're an engineer. I'm here near Kaiserslautern and was wondering if you have any recommendations for hardwood stores. Can't seem to find much at OBI or Room. Also, do you know of any woodworking shows like we have in the States? I can't seem to find a lot of guys around here that are into woodworking so it's kind of tough to get information. Thanks,
Good job
Which sander do you think is better and has less vibration? The Dewalt or the blue Bosch ?
Can you make video about ideas to make it easier woodworking in a small shop?
Good video.
Are you happy with your planer/jointer combination? I am trying to decide which way to go with that. Do you have any advice? Thanks for all the great content.
Yes, if you can find the one I have on Ebay etc. get it.
hm i was just wondering where are those quick relase cabels..? 😃
do you have a video on those long clamps that you used? (2:01)
That joinery won't last long...maybe 400 years or so.
I just screwed mine, but that was because I made them from cheap particle board furniture, I don't think dovetails would have an effect there.
Great job!
yes !
do you have a video on your clamps? very interested in your design on those...
yes, this one: ua-cam.com/video/tPCLoR4ptJg/v-deo.html
Hey Marius.
I love all your tight fits! Great video again!
Nice video ;-)
hi. nice work but can you please tell me what is the stuff you had placed under your work when sanding?
that's an anti-slip mat for a car trunk.
humm thats great. it is very useful and efficientfor doing sanding?
How is the vibartion on the Dewalt sander compared to the Bosch?
Love the chanel
The DeWalt is very good. Comfortable to use. But since the Bosch has built in dampeners it's a lot better. No fair comparison though.
Hello! I plan to buy a pantorouter but I intend to use it in beechwood. Do you think there is a router that could work in pantorouter for making dovetails and finger boxes? Thank you!
I like your red square - very Russian!
I wished you or Wandel or someone else ONLY SOMEONE ELSE WOULD BE MY WOODWORK TEACHER BCS MY WOODWORK TEACHER IS SHTT
Otherwise it's a nice vid :D!
Couldn't agree more think I know more then my teacher
Lol
My last teacher in my old school was VERY good but the one in my new school just think we will have grate respect and if we talk in the BEGINNIG of the lesson he says:
"You should be quiet when you come in the room directly and bla bla bla"
I can't stand out anymore!
Samarium in my school we don't even have a shop or woodworking teacher😢😭
Fran Maric :'(
Yeah I know!
ah now I know where I got the idea for those drawer-pulls, I thought I it was my idea at the time when I made some that are quite similar (about 2 months ago) but now I'm pretty sure I stole the idea from you. sorry I hope that's ok :)
also for cutting dovetails in multiplex plywood, handcutting works quite well in my experience, you should try that once, the fitting is easier than with sold wood (even softwood) ....
and on last tip, when putting dovetails (made with flatsawn boards) together, make sure, the right (the right side (at least in german, I don't know if it translates) is the heart side) side of the wood is on the outside, because, when wood moves the bow goes the other way than the annual rings, so in an assembled dovetail corner, when the right side is on the outside, the middle of the board wants to bow out, which is much less likely to happen due to the geometry of dovetails than when the board is flipped and the corners want to lift. sorry its hard to descirbe.
maybe an image helps: second image here: inspectapedia.com/decks/Wood_Board_Bark_Down.php
How do you like your Hammer sliding table saw?
I am always impressed by what are you making in a shop so small. Whats the size of it? 4x3 meters?
2x5 m
I would be feeling very claustrophobic in your shop. your work however is awesome
Where are you man?
dafaqu where is the plug it system
I time traveled
Marius Hornberger nice project!
Marius Hornberger if you can time travel, can you tell me where I lost my mind?
_"can you tell me where I lost my mind?"_
Have you looked behind the couch? Or down the back of the workbench, that's where most of the things I lose end up. :)
Mighst All Crucking Fighty I already found it this morning, under my pillow, it must've fallen out while I was sleeping!! ;)
This was before the revolutionary fast plug system wasn't it!!?
yes
HI,
i like Your workshop furniture style. Except green/black colours. I saw a record lathe at one desk of Your, can You prepare(if You have a free time) a short movie about it ? Features, what was in standard, general opinion... etc
:) GSM cell signals noise, must not get good signal in the basment
Ja, da wird nochmal was drüber kommen
What model is your metal lathe?
Are you happy you invested in the Penta-Router?
It was given to me for free...so yes worth every penny ;)
has the plywood you used for runners really got a black laminate on it? usually you get plywood laminated with melamin - but those you used look like redish brown, so it is more like phenolic resin (resol, a precursor of bakelite) you'd find on coated texture boards ("siebdruckplatte") and those are not laminated, the resin is directly bonded to the plywood
needless to say that pretty much nothing sticks on penolic resins, so they are pretty much the perfect choice for a work surface
ah, yes they're phenolic resin coated. Siebdruckplatte is also what they are called here.
Siebdruckplatte is textured coated board, US you do it your self. But it looked really nice
Hello Marius! I’m from Brazil. I’m recently subscribed to your UA-cam channel, I was watching this video and I was very interested in this machine that appeared at 2: 26s. Want to know how I can buy one, look in many places here in Brazil and have not seen anything like it. I hope I help, I'm a big fan of your videos.
Google translation
It's the PantoRouter. There are links in the video description.
Hallo Marius
Was denkst du über die Bosch pts 10.
Keine Ahnung, ich hab ja keine
Where did you buy the glue bot in germany?
here: www.feinewerkzeuge.de/
Now all I have to do is spend $100000 on equipment and $20000 for a shop to put it in. Then I can make a bed.
i like the video, probably you spent more time editing the video then the making the stand
1:04 ... happens to me all the time
Nice job & vid. Just feel a bit sorry for your sister though, not really a nice brother who steals the wood from her bed to make drawers eh ! Maybe with all the tools you haveyou could make her a new bed ... now that wood [ pun intended ] be a good project ..lol
Where did you go?
👍
for free ...wow how do I get in on that deal?
ua-cam.com/video/e4bkD7hCAY0/v-deo.html
Maybe with the Outtakes in the normal Video mittendrin and a little "Gefluche" it will be much lustiger.
So please think about this verry Geniale Idee from mir.
With much Grüße from Hannover
Ingo. ;)
