Nice project as usual! Seriously, the word "drawer' is a very odd word, indeed, in the English language. I would like to see those who are so amused attempt to pronounce "tiroir," just for laughs. Perhaps you and Tamar could do a joint presentation on the various, legitimate variations of the word and comments you have recevied!

I've been making a Sewing desk for my wife and when I finished the drawers... well it was just a big box with a lot of room. Your "You Tube" was great about making inserts and slider within the drawer... just before the build I went to Rockler "Black Friday deal" and bought a Bessey 90 Angle Clamp that really made the build so much easier. Just wanted to thank you for a great video... I watched you video on making the desk top and how you brought the desk top up to the room where the desk was to be placed. Last year I had a leak in my ceiling in the Kitchen... and watching a guy from the West Coast about plastering I came across "Zip Wall System" I put this up in the kitchen made the repair no dust got out "and there was a lot of it" got out into the kitchen or the rest of the house. Anyway food for thought I enjoy your "You Tubes" keep up the good work!

You are a genius, the straw trick saves so much messing about removing squeeze out, I am in your debt! BTW I like the way you say drawer, it's understandable and a little different to the way we pronounce it in Australia and that gives variety and interest. Who wants to live in a world where everyone says and does things exactly the same way? We would never end up with things like the straw trick. Cheers from your friend in Aus!

Hello from Toronto, and a big thank you for this thorough and easy to follow tutorial. Both my Dad and husband are carpenters with great skills and fancy tools but neither one of them would make a drawer organizer, because they are waaaay to busy with their work. I'm not a carpenter and I don't have fancy tools, but I have lots of cardboard boxes in the basement. Guess where I'm heading next ? And since I'm a girly girl, I will cover my beautiful drawer organizer with pink craft paper 😊😊😊Again, thank you kindly for showing me how to build an organizer.

I just attempted to make a single layer of dividers for my kitchen drawer. I don’t have a table saw so I tried to use my miter saw and a thin chisel but my slots are a bit sloppy. It works fine but I definitely need to figure out a better way to cut the slots. Any thoughts, jig saw maybe???? I just found your channel and I am very impressed by your projects and even more importantly I love the way you present your projects. I watch a lot of woodworking channels and find few are really helpful even if they are skillful at woodworking. I’ll be binge watching your channel for sure. Also watched the update router table build…..beautiful. Are you mainly a hobbyist or do to make money with your woodworking?

I was commenting on how much I love Tamar's pronunciation (I'm a woodworker and a linguist :) ) in a video where she pointed out that people comment on it, and your pronunciation sounds quite similar to hers. Wouldn't surprise me if New York and Montreal have some shared accent features. Also, love the simple project--if I get around to putting drawers in my shop, those will be included.

Your approach is short sweet and to the point. Thank you...new subscriber

I don't think anybody says "drawer" the way it is spelled. But add in a regional accent and it can become more noticeable.
Adam Savage talks about "order of retrievability" and I like that concept. Items that you use frequently such as screwdrivers should be on the wall where you can see them, almost reach out and grab them with your eyes closed. I use pegboard in my shop. A lot of people complain about pegboard but it is quick and easy and very functional. The trend seems to be putting everything on french cleats and building custom holders for your tools. This is ok if you have the time and have lots of wood scraps, and can make a series of videos doing it so you get paid for it.
