Wider availability for factory-style upfit components like the skid plates or "rock sliders" shown in this video would be fantastic, but unfortunately Slimecorp interactive doesn't produce physical products at this time and therefore cannot make them available for your Freelander 2.
No unfortunately @tomothywalsh2077 there is no purchase link available, however because these "sliders" share a common base construction and attachment as those which are more common with additional "tree bars", it's likely a manufacturer could prepare a custom order for a client whom doesn't want the bars. Please report back!
This is true! In fact, on the opposite side, the sill was rusting away on its own under the plastic trim. There's another recent video on this channel showing a quick fix for that, and a future video will show a more long term preventative treatment for both sides.
@@slimecorp the sill is a different issue it needs rust proofing and cavity treatment on its own. I'm just saying the steel trim may rust while the plastic one won't... 😅

I have rock sliders, more protection.
The rails that extend sideways and can also serve as a step for the roof rack are awesome and definitely offer more protection!
