    Thank you very much for sharing your production experience. I am also making my own suit based on your video, but I am currently facing a problem where the wooden stilt is inserted into the sponge made calf part, which is not fully demonstrated in your video. I mean...do you wear a sponge suit first and then a wooden stilt, or do you wear stilts first and then a suit? I am also following your Instagram account. Can you demonstrate the wearing process? Thank you very much.🙏

      @@nogardvinom3640 oh my god you are so right. I think I totally forgot to add the final decision regarding the stilts 😳 I ended up ditching the wooden stillts, because they made the feet too bulky. I went with super high heels instead. I have a zipper in the back of the foam feet. I put on the suit first (feet already zipped open). Then I pull up the leg bits to free my own feet and then a buddy helps me put on my heels. Then the foam feet are slided down to cover the heels, the zippers are closed and that's it. I do have one video of the process of putting on the suit on my insta. I'll see if I can tag you

    I’m planning to make a muscle suit for a project and I’m unsure of wether to use a mannequin or a duct tape dummy. I have an opportunity to get a cheap ($30) full size male mannequin but it is modeled after a 5’11’’ male, while I myself am 5’5’’. Should I still get the mannequin for this application?

    • @evelinacosplay7454
      @evelinacosplay7454  3 роки тому +1

      Oofff uhmm, I think for the best fit, I would go for a duct tape dummy, but I can imagine that that's a lot of work. With a mannequin taller than yourself it could result in a suit that's too big. Obviously, haha, but since a muscle suit like this is quite stiff, it could really give weird shapes if you then put on the suit and move. Muscles could fold or your range of motion could be less.

    • @thebedroomshow9010
      @thebedroomshow9010 3 роки тому

      @@evelinacosplay7454 Thank you for replying so quickly and yes, you’re absolutely right. I saw in your video how you used a mannequin and assumed that there was some leeway between that and your own body, but upon rewatching I noticed how closely you resemble the mannequin. At this time, I will go through the trouble of doing both, getting the mannequin and making a dummy. That way I can have something to display costumes on or use for other people’s costumes (if I ever get that far) and have a correct replica of myself

      Hi! I'm very sorry, but because of how the process went, I didn't end up with useful patterns. I cut and added and changed the shapes a lot along the way, so the muscles look jothing like the patterns I started with. My advise would be to look up nice drawings of the humal body and muscles, references of Venom's body and references of body builders. I just used those and drew patterns on my mannequin.
