I don’t know why I love sad music so much, I haven’t had anything really traumatic in my life or anything. I guess it just gives me a real sense of tranquility and peace for even just a second.
I play songs like this on piano just off the top of my head, some ppl just have the passion to create straight up beauty and feel it

Damn.. Just heard a song in a UA-cam video and it hit the spot so I went to Google and typed, "sad, yearning, longing piano music" (though, I've always absolutely loved any music other people say is depressing) and this popped up and it's extremely similar.. Google used to always get it wrong when I'd search for "sad, depressing" music but it does better these days.
