I really dislike how everyone looks perfect. They look too clean, no bleshmes on their skin or clothing; it breaks the suspension of disbelief for me. BG3 and D&D have this problem too; every NPC looks immaculate, even goblins are perfect. I also don't like how reliant the combat is on the HUD and how spells are just color vomit, there's way too much going on for me to enjoy combat. No reaction to the enemies themselves but to HUD indicators; cant even see the enemy your targeting because of how busy the spells are. Just look at the hp bar or lock on indicator and press buttons, doesn't seem very engaging to me.
Character customization makes way for characters who are not likely to ever be considered traditionally attractive. We have not seen every NPC. Also, there is no one single aesthetic for D&D, a table-top RPG; it is literally impossible for one to realistically expect every single NPC appearance to be described. It is also unlikely for every single NPC to be gorgeous unless the dungeon/game master decided that was the case. CD Projekt Red & Larian Studios do love their beautified NPCs tho, sure, but let's not pretend every NPC was stunning. Bugbears, trolls, illithids, goblins (I disagree with you that they were attractive), Zevlor (in my opinion), the myconids, et al. If you extend this to the entire D&D lore, the list never stops growing depending on who you ask.
@shiningsun2027 you are conflating attractive with perfect. I put D&D in there from the context of the presentation of characters and races in the books. They're boring af now; they have no flaws.

Tip number one, don’t give money to developers who put inclusivity and wokeness above gameplay or storytelling
Get Baulders Gate instead
It's always fascinating reading comments from people spouting talking points from their favorite influencer like a good lil parrot.
Biggest tip is to just not play it and play the original Dragon Age instead 😢
Why do you even say that? The game is not even released yet.

Step One :- Play something else.
It looks like an enjoyable RPG. Just not a good Dragon Age sequel.
This game sounds like it sucks bad
