Nice set up. You've covered all of your bases in terms of fishing. I've thought many times about getting a kayak, even though I have a boat. Exercise and something different are my attractions. However, being 61yo, 6' and 265#, I have my reservations about... falling/tipping over, getting trapped/stuck, not being able to get back aboard, and drowning! They appear to be very tipsy and easily flipped.
I'm 55. 250# this yak is rated for 375#. I got it to fish local river and small lakes and ponds. It's pretty stable. No worries of getting wet except when getting out lol. Got wet once when I lost my footing. When I'm on the water and seated I have no worries of going for a swim.
