I shot a short documentary film about my story coming up with my good friend Shimon before I left Japan. here’s the link to it if you want to know a little more about me: ua-cam.com/video/wc31rqlg-Ps/v-deo.html
Restaurant segment was the most genuine, human moment ever, times like those is what I’m here for. It makes me so happy knowing such kind people exist on this world
@@Glixzy Japan is the most amazing place in the world! I’ve been twice and after the first time going it stole my heart. I hope you enjoy your time there and be sure to take plenty of photos for memories
The crazy restaurant was the best and exquisite thing I’ve ever seen… 😂🙏 Thank you for showing us this little part of the local scene. I really enjoyed this video❤️
The restaurant clip was SO WHOLESOME, everyone was so nice wtf!! Now I wanna go to japan just to visit there 😭❤️ Amazing video as always Luis, thank you for your work!!
It’s crazy we went to two different restaurants in Tokyo the last hour they were open… small places similar to this… they cooked us tons of stuff we didn’t order, kept giving everyone sake , let us attempt to cook some of the food, stayed open way past closing … it was so fkn cool/funny everytime
especially if you’re foreign they’ll cook a lot of food for you as soon as you sit down and they’ll charge you for all of it. it’s a scummy practice that happens a lot in asian countries
I think this might be one my favourite out of all your vlogs. That small act of letting someone take a taxi first because they were on their own at night, that magical little restaurant and its beautiful people... and those last scenes of Kyonosuke cruising the city at night were so atmospheric and captivating.. Bravissimo!
Japan's hospitality is really next level. Japan is the place I probably most often want to tip due to the amazing service but sadly it is not acceptable. Those small business owners really do it for the love.
Let's keep Japan tip-free. Service people in Japan are paid a livable wage. The problem with the tipping culture in America is that service workers aren't paid enough and need those tips to make ends meet. DO NOT TIP IN JAPAN, is rude anyways, they will chase you down the street to return the money you left.
Nah that level of hospitality and kindness w/ foreigner it’s very very rare to see, don’t be delusional and thinking that u’ll see this happen across the entire Japan…
I was born and raised in Osaka for 20years, then I came to Canada for studying. I've been here for 2 years, I rly miss my hometown so this video makes me hyped and nostalgic
Man your videos just hit different man. The filming, editing, and music choice always just feel top notch. One of my favorite videos is your slow dancing in the dark night skating edit. So good dude. Your videos helped inspire me to get back into photography as well so thanks for that man!
7:00 Moments like these are happening all over the world. Each one unique and exclusive to the people experiencing them. I wish I could experience them all.
The doc was really dope. Props to you man. Genuine guy and supportin everyone and making dreams happen for all your team. Mad respect and you deserve it
NOTIFICATION GANG, we to it. Gotta love when Luis posts a video cuz the quality of it will always be there. To the music, to the skating, to the B-roll, front to back just beauty
Luis - new to your videos, but I adored this. Seeing the guy in the Navy shirt signal "no" and accepting a hug instead of you having to pay : thats beautiful man. That owner/chef is a wonderful human being. Kudos to you for showing how lovely they were.
The whole restaurant part could convince me on its own to go to japan. Such an amazing thing to experience and I will be forever grateful that you documented it for us
Esse vídeo me deixou feliz é Triste ao mesmo tempo, Talvez pela vibe da música ? Não sei. Mas parabéns pelo trabalho, Vocês sem dúvidas são os melhores no que fazem !
Luis, your videos are great, the maneuvers, the reviews, the adventures and the list of songs that give that flavor that makes your videos the best, congratulations..
Even though I wasn’t in the restaurant and I didn’t taste the food I still felt it somehow. It’s very beautiful how kind him and everyone else was. He was so vibrant and passionate. Idk man something indescribable. I hope you guys go back and maybe one day I’ll get to visit and eat there.
Besides of good food, nice city, shopping, the vibes in japan, this is one of the things why i really love in Japan. People are really kind, discipline and honest.
The moment in the restaurant reminded me of my days as manager of a small family restaurant. The owner always gave new guests he liked something on the house. They always came back to eat, even years later.
I use to watch your videos when you lived with Lamont. I stopped watching UA-cam for a while and now Im so glad I get to watch everything I missed on your journey!

Moving to Osaka for a year starting in a month, and this gave me even more to look forward to once I get there! I’m definitely going to that restaurant and I’ll try to hit some of those street spots you guys filmed at (if I can geo-guess where you were lol). much love!
