This is actually really hilarious. Like, the contestants know it's crazy and scary, but they've got this fantastic sense of humor. They're not putting up with any crap. "What the heck was that?!?" yelling at the people trying to knock them down. Man, this is great.
they're called "Downtown or as a group Gaki no Tsukai" and are among the best Japanese comedians..hence the "fantastic sense of humor" ...look them up..you'll get hooked..
I mean tbh as a Japanese, the Japanese sense of humor probably won't be as appealing to foreigners as it is funny to the Japanese themselves. I find some of their stuff funny, but only because I've grown pretty accustomed to their unique sense of humor.
