Bought the deck box and counter on Ebay for $15- rest of deck with my favorite alt art (SLDs, promos, Japanese Giada, etc.) for the same price with the upgrades I wanted.
@@deviousj5868 Yes. Lots of things to make the cost lower. Works well. I actually have another Angel deck with Avacyn Angel of Hope as the Commander, that I built, and even with that high cost, mana tends to come fast.
A super cool bit of info about this deck as well: Arden Angel is a card that has never been printed on paper before. Until now, the only place that you would have ever seen it is in the 1997 Magic: The Gathering PC game, colloquially referred to as "Shandalar"
A friend of mine is willing to sell me his foil one for $250. I'm considering it, but I thought there were just better Angel commanders, so IDK. I see this from a completely different perspective. It's not FOR ppl who can't afford it to begin with, and ppl who CAN afford it either will enjoy showing off a fancy, new deck, or just collect it because it's high quality and sought after.
I had just completed a nice Giada deck when this product was announced. And yeah it made me unhappy. A year of careful collecting that just got dumped on and superceded. What's funny is my version is almost exactly the same. Just a few key things missing. Now- could I sell my deck for $350? Hell no. Everyone would TCGplayer it into dusty scrap but they will pay huge $$$ for the lair version. It's silly af. It's getting harder and harder to feel anything for people getting burned on these products because heck- I'm getting burned and I used all legitimate paths to get my deck assembled. It's a cool deck. The lair version and mine is too. So it's whatever. What I really hate seeing is pieces of these "special edition" decks in trade binders- it lets me know some people don't give a crap or understand what they have. Mine has commander's plate and smothering tithe lol. Angel of tithes was the hardest to trade for but gisela meld will be the most pricey. Ah well.
I know it's a Longshot but I have this deck in very good condition (light play at worst) and I'm trying to sell it for 275~ would be willing to provide ID to a neutral third party as long as the buyer does the same q:
The special art cards alone add up close to the $350, glad i snagged one for $200.

I bought it originally because I love Angels. It's a great deck, and really fun to play (and powerful).
How do you get around that high mana cost? It's Mono White, right?
Giada as the commander is a mana dork. I'd recommend it over the other angels as it helps you cast them faster

I’m pumped I bought this when it came out for the 150$ price tag
Scott Fischers art is awesome. So glad I picked one of these up. Hell be releasing a playmat or 2 soon with some of the art from this secret lair.
The plains use the art from Urza's Saga. I believe the art is meant to show Serra's Realm.

No one who bought this at any point got burned. Stop being mad that some people have some cards you don't have.

I have the life counter and whatnot too
no f*cking way I would payd that amount for it
I’d pay what a commander deck is worth. $35 from WOTC.
350?? In Eu its 200-220 euros ^^
no i dont think it should be that over priced think it needs to resell for same price it launched at smh thats why gonna build my own verison
Why on Earth would anyone make no money to sell this to you later?
Angels are too expensive
It wasn't 350 dollars
As mentioned in the video - original sale price is $150, market price as of a few days ago was $350.
