Thank you Peter for an absolutely beautiful video. I enjoyed every minute of it. Your boat is looking amazing. Thank you again. I am looking forward to the next one.
Try dipping your marine hose in a cup of very hot water for a couple minutes. Almost boiling. That 1” hose would easily stretch over a larger fitting. Heating the hose with a torch or heat gun will not work the same. It will amaze you like it did me.
The beauty of BC is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for sharing with us. Life is good, however some do it better than others. You have mastered the art.👍
OMG, Peter! Just when the Green Eyed Envy Monster was eating my lunch over the unattainably high levels of your craftsmanship, you go ahead and show me that you’re not perfect, after all! 🎉😂 For me, plumbing has always been a game of “Back To The Store For More Bits!” Grrr! 😊 Thank you for another lovely video. It’s always a pleasure. All the best to you and yours! 👍👍
Wonderful video. I watch each and every video each week (I even have a TWG t-shirt) and what makes this video so great is it is a nice combination of cruising, working, and relaxing - along with some wonderful drone footage. Thank You!
Nothing more intoxicating than the Douglas Fir and Cedar greens cooking in the sun with a splash of briney air from the sea. My favorite time of year on the PNW. Been up in Desolation Sound many times without doing much sailing. The stern tie with an anchor seems to baffle people even when they have similar waters on the east coast, but it works a treat on the inside passage.
Stayed in an inlet, not unlike where you are moored, got fresh oysters off the beach, nice big Red Rock crabs, and a fresh Ling Cod for dinner. A chilled bottle of Crown Royal for dessert. Memorable!
One thing I've found that helps with those tight hoses is a cup of boiling hot water. Hold the hose end in the hot water for 15 to 30 seconds. Safer than using a heat gun, though that works also, but I've damaged hoses with a heat gun. Loving these episodes Peter. Been following you for 4 years now. Can't believe you don't a million subscribers. Safe travels and good beers!
Thanks so much for the scenery videos. My wife and I have rewatched it a few times. Her first trip around Sarah Point and seeing Desolation Sound is one of our favorite memories thanks to the Lund Seaside Inn. We've done 5 trips there and hope to cruise again someday. It's such a magical place and to see you making the boat better while there makes us very jealous.
Photography is cookin. Lovely episode. The kitchen is coming along very nicely. You'll wonder how you got along without it. It's startling how the water drops, but then again you are cruising around mountain tops.
Peter, Greetings from Vermont, I'm a year behind on videos, but catching up, my wife and I bought a house and there are a zillion small and large projects and your videos are an inspiration to tackle them all with care and grace and like you said, they are living proof of concept. It's nice to be back and I promise to get current with your content.
...summer/fall is absolutely beautiful in the PNW...I lived there most of my life, but finally moved to Mexico in 2018...needed year round sun. Your vids have me missing it. Cheers.
Beautiful..beautiful…beautiful..I am so envious…I miss not living on my boat “STELLA !!” And I love that part of the world. The location where the bar was is amazing…be safe…Ps. Nice sink…
Ah, reminiscent of the "Supernatural BC" ad campaign from back when I was an impressionable young Washingtonian!!! Makes me homesick; TDY in Maine for the summer thanks to the US navy; quite similar, but not home... thanks for all of your hard work!
I do love BC. You taught me a trick with the bar clamp (btw I do have a few sets of corner clamps 😉) so maybe I can save your viewers some grief. PEX has become synonymous with "plastic" pipe and fittings much like Cresent with adjustable wrenches or Vise Grips with locking pliers and my favorite, Channel Locks with the "Water Pump Packing Plier 😂. Back to the PEX... You were installing PEX B valves with crimp rings. I did this today for one of my mother's projects. When purchasing fittings BE CAREFUL NOT to purchase PEX A type. The barbs/diameter is larger and require a specialized/expensive tool to properly install and they WILL NOT fit on the PEX pipe without aforementioned tool. All said, your execution was spot on. I could almost smell the Fiords.
Lovely video Peter I really love that inlet that has the waterfall in it great painting opportunity glad your galley is being finished up makes it a lot easier to cook now doesn't it thank you for sharing and cheers
Pex crimp rings. Insert a small strong screwdriver into the crimped area to open it up 337 channelocks wire cutters snip right thru the crimped area of the ring.
Nice job on the Sink setup Peter. Your cruising grounds very similar to the Marlborough Sounds here in NZ big drop offs anchoring right up to the banks. Looks dam fine to me.😊
Hey Peter, what happened to that lovely little lamp that was precariously perched on the bridge deck when you left Lund? I hope it didn't shatter on to said deck, that would've kiboshed the cookin
What is your fuel burn rate, cruising, top speed and idling? (Sorry if you have already answered this) I’ve been watching your channel for several years, very entertaining!
Sunday's have become Travels with Geordie day.
*Sundays
I miss the video wrap-up / beer of the week being part of the video. Great to have a working galley sink!
Thank you Peter for an absolutely beautiful video. I enjoyed every minute of it. Your boat is looking amazing. Thank you again. I am looking forward to the next one.
Great music.! Grate video! BC is breathtaking.

Thanks for letting a burnt out graduate student live vicariously! Every week that you're cruising is a mini-vacation for me.

Love it, love it, love it. Thanks for taking me along. See you next week.

Wow... that went by quick. I love all the build and repair videos, but man... cruising is really cookin' too! Thank you
Thank you for the beautiful footage of your location.
Magical place, Desolation Sound. Love this episode!
Loving the galley progress and the fun in the sun!
Awesome Peter....be safe out there... see you when you get back...

Great season of cruising for the 3 Amigos!!!! Lady Z, Finnster and Peter!!!! Such beautiful, rugged terrain!!!
We just had a “Geordie sighting”, we nosed into Walsh Cove but it was pretty full!
Dog bark when you checked for leaks made our dog go crazy.
I’m seeing some pretty ambitious cruising Peter! Great channel and content! Thank you!
Loved the drone shots Peter and the music. Looks like you are really enjoying yourself. My attempt at the word of the week is, What's cooking. 😁

An absolute pleasure.
Thanks Peter.🙂
Loved Cassel Lake and Teakerne Arm. You were probably anchored in 150-200 ' of water, that close to shore. Stern tie is the only way to go!
Great job installing the sink and showing some scenery.
Hello from Denmark. Had alot of fun watching all your videos and have gotten some good ideas for my own wooden boat.
Thanks for the great cruising footage took me back to our family's summer vacation cruising the North Channel :))
Brilliant Peter! Well done! We are close behind you. I’ll keep an eye out for ya.

Stunning, keep baiting me over the border. MV Geordie list of gorgeous cruising grounds.
Love the drone footage had to watch it twice.

Another awesome video Peter. I love the drone shots. (I’ve added an Insta360 to my iPhone, GoPro and DJI arsenal = great fun editing)
Another envious episode. Did I miss the stove part.
Nice job on the Sink setup Peter. Your cruising grounds very similar to the Marlborough Sounds here in NZ big drop offs anchoring right up to the banks. Looks dam fine to me.😊
Brilliant!
The drone shots are amazing. Do you ever do any fishing from the boat? I think that would be pretty cool once in awhile.
Great episode. Are you zoomin Lady Z yet?
Peter, great episode -- have you installed an accumulator tank for the galley faucet??
