DONATING MY HAIR TO THE LITTLE PRINCESS TRUST 💇🏻‍♀️ | LIFE OF PIPPA

My goal was always to make three hair donations while I was in my twenties so this is my third and final donation with two-ish years to spare… but never say never, hey?
My chronic illness means I’m not eligible to donate blood or stem cells, something I’ve always wanted to do, so donating my hair to help make a beautiful bespoke wig for a young person experiencing hair loss definitely has to be the next best thing.
Some of you who’ve been here for a while may know that according to a specialist, I lost around 50% of my hair mass as a teenager. It happened way before I had a diagnosis, back when my health first started declining - though luckily I had a heck of a lot of hair to start with, meaning there was the privilege of it it never being especially visible and very easy to hide.
A few months ago it started happening again, and I immediately remembered how helpless you can feel, knowing that your hair was falling out and there was nothing you could do to stop it. That’s one of many, many reasons why I really admire @officiallittleprincesstrust and the work they do.
Donating your hair is such a rewarding thing to do and I’d encourage anybody to do the same, though it doesn’t have to be a big deal if you don’t want it to be.
