Jev you download the texture pack and drag it to your desktop. Hit windows key, type %Appdata% , click the MC file and then drag the texture pack into the texture file. Like This so he sees

For potions you first put nether wart which creates an akward potion and then put the ingredients such as a ghast tear to create a potion with effects. Gun powder makes it throw able, red stone makes it last longer, and glow stone increases the power.

that shader came with some really cool realistic skybox and clouds.
go to your settings menu and turn off "clouds" to only keep the realistic ones.

Hey Jev, when you go mining and see a lava pit. Use the water bucket to make the floor obsidian. It makes everything easier and recuces the risk of you actually falling in the lava.

sildur vibrant shaders (not his) are extremely easy to optimize and look good with good FPS. take it from someone with a sub par gpu.
