So, I've installed this in my 2015 Jeep Cherokee. I've been quoted 3 different prices. Two for $200 and one for $299.00. Have had one attempt to add the JLN and RSM codes and complete the proxi alignment, but they were unable to add the codes to my build/VIN and subsequently the proxi alignment failed. Fortunately, they only charged me $50.00. Though a bit annoyed that I'm still out of pocket 50 bucks. The other two dealers insist it won't work and they advise that they will charge me regardless of wether if is successful or failed again. Chatted with infotainment.com via their online chat and they sent the link with instructions but where unable to provide any further details on how to get the codes to accept. The dealer showed me on their screen that it wouldn't accept the codes and appeared to be correct. Waiting on a callback from infotainment tech support tomorrow to discuss further. But considering how the website and this video are very very clear that it would work and for $2000.00 I would expect that to be the case. Knowing all this now, I would have reconsidered ordering this radio. www.infotainment.com/collections/all/products/2014-2019-jeep-cherokee-gps-navigation-8-4-4c-nav-uaq-radio-with-apple-carplay-android-auto Infotainment, if you have any additional information you can share that can be passed on to the dealer then please let me know.
Mik Hughes Did you manage to get this to work eventually or was the proxy alignment not possible in the end as looking at ordering one of these systems for delivery to the UK. Thanks for any advice :-)

Hello there, Yes, this is due to the fact that there are a few CDJR vehicles that do not have a Powernet type BCM. These vehicles are the Chrysler 200, Jeep Compass, Jeep Cherokee (Not Grand Cherokee), Jeep Renegade. These vehicles have a FIAT based Body Controller, and the vehicle has to be forced to accept the radio by means of a Proxi Alignment. This is an additional step for those vehicles upgrading, and requires a visit to the Dealership. Also, the Uconnect 4's do require an acclimation process when installed in the other CDJR vehicles, so for example the RAM or Grand Cherokee may experience some nuances, including no audio, but that clears after a few hours of the vehicle being turned off so the Radio and BCM can handshake. The FIAT vehicles mentioned before will never complete that handshake, so the Dealership has to force it by means of Proxi Alignment.

If you offer upgraded radios for Hyundai's you'd be suprised 💁🏿
