If anything, im sure Frank appreciate Amy for this. You know, one of the most joyful thing about being a Father is to think about the future, plans and other vision you have for your kids. Frank didnt have the chance to do that. He's filled with rage and revenge before any of that could have come to his mind. Now Amy gave him exactly that vision, which is something that could warm Frank's heart even for just a little.
Anna L. Vajda shes not trying to be. My therapist actually described this as healthy, cause I have people I’ve lost either to death or other circumstances, and I re-write it in my head as if they are still here and what we were doing… mu therapist said it’s a healthy part of grieving. She’s trying to help. I can see how it’s also insensitive if someone just wants to hear “sorry for your loss.” She is trying to lighten the mood, but for a lot of people this type of pretend world is painful.
I used to think Amy misread the room by talking about this….. But after more viewings and reading some of these comments I think she’s right. She said something Frank needed to hear.
Frank would of happily given some teenage boy the "shotgun cleaning dad" daughter mood, then being on a park bench thinking about what a woman his daughter would of become. This scene aches my heart.
"You think they know? Some of their parents kill people?" I don't remember why she said this line or the context in the show but it's a powerful line. Frank has lost everything or at least he thinks so. So unlike he doesn't think like Batman. "Scum maybe. But even scum have families." - Batman Year One
I think Frank is on a one-man warpath strictly because he feels it's all he's worth and he's punishing himself for his families death. Knowing it's a character, I hope Frank is able to find peace within himself.
flicked past this for at least 5 months not even curious, eventually threw on on Ep1 & give it a go, Have watched the entire series 3 times now and am as moved by it & Frank Castle the man as much now as the 1st time i sawThe Punisher’ in action, For a combination of reasons watching this series was/is/always will be honestly one of the most unforgettable EPIC viewing experiences of my life !!! RESPECT TO MARVEL
Troy Paul she was trying to remind Frank that his life should be just defined by the death of his family. It should also be defined by the moments when they were alive.
@@yaboytroy4557 I was thinking the same thing. But after finishing the season, I think that was the point. She knows it hurts him, but the truth hurts. He's been in this fight for so long that he doesn't know what he's fighting for. This whole season was pretty much defining what the Punisher stands for. He's not just some blind angry madman that enjoys killing. He's a man who has a soft spot for the weak and a father who never got the chance to see his family grow up. He fights so that others may have the chance to be happy the way he would have liked.
@@ThatLaloBoy i get what your saying dude but i felt this season retreaded on the whole embracing the punisher mantle gig again he literally told rawlins that he's a reminder to thugs like him that they can die but then immediately forgets what he is fighting for the next season. He didnt need to be reminded he should've already known from the jump of this season. Just my two cents.
Troy Paul She’s has a point, he needs to start remembering the happy moments that they all shared, and think about how great his daughter and son would’ve been had they had a chance to grow up. Most people don’t want to be a memory that brings their loved one’s pain and sadness, they would want to bring happiness and joy. Also, she trying to bond with him.

No it obviously hurts him to think about she thinks she is helping but it's really insensitive imo. Men like him don't like crying in public.

Frank is literally dying inside everyday.
After the shit he's been through who wouldn't
I know right, its heartbreaking

Jon is a wonderful actor.
John Bernthal is the perfect Punisher. For this. And everything else

This part almost tore me up, fam!!!
Frank: *literally bleeding out*
Curtis: sh*t frank ur dying
Frank: on the inside? Every damn day
I cried at this part can’t lie
I cry everytime I think of Frank.
You look like Thor in your picture.
You should replace Chris Hemsworth in Marvel movies.
@@Cerdo_asqueroso thank you man :) get that a lot! Haha

Frank saddest backstory in the MCU?
So far I guess so, maybe black widow and rocket raccoon will top that when their movies come out
Well it’s hard (and unpleasant) to try and figure out who got it worse Frank or Jessica Jones.
wolverine has the saddest story by far
edit: i realized it said mcu so wolverine doesn't technincally fall under the mcu.

Ana Helstrom had it the worst. What happened to her was so horrible

Marvel didn't make this
Can anyone else find the audio for the song that plays during this scene? I can't find it anywhere
Award needed
Was i the only one saying,"Amy, QUIT TALKING ABOUT HIS DAMN KIDS!!!"

I would watch all of the season again despite the long boring bits just to rewatch the Frank and Amy relationship
She only screwed in the scene before when she cassualy says "kids are a weakness" and realized she fucked it up so she Is great here.
if you wanna destroy a mans life don't kill em kill his family 😔
they can be joel and ellie from tlou
March?
i much prefer that actor than the original punisher. this one is scary the other have a baby face you want to kiss haha
