People don't seem to understand even after all these years. It was Disneys choice to pull all the epic Marvel shows. Not Netflix and now Disney are bringing them back. But they better not mess up DD or Punisher and Disney-fy it.
This scene along with the conversation between Amy and Frank about Lisa outside of the rich kids college are the strongest moments of the season. Franks demeanor on this one, getting early in the morning to find everyone waiting on him just to try and make some sense in him, drinking a few shoots of bourbon to stay wired after a long night stake out. And after a few exchanges with him they all realize he is not even trying anymore, he knows what he has become and embraces it, and is the realization of this fact what shutsdown all their intentions and even makes sense to them knowing Frank is the only one crazy enough to do it. The way he says to Madani ''the assholes who are chasing her they dont care about your law" is something she's aware but cant support because of her moral code and her attachment to the book. This is the moment they all realized Franks too far gone. Bernthal is at his peak. I just Loved this little character moments, i keep rewatching them.
At one point, Frank had embraced who he was on Daredevil and after he killed everyone involved in his families murder except he stopped. He tried regular life but it didn’t take. We can say Madani dragged him back into it, but she’s not to blame. It started with him protecting Amy. She said it, he was looking for a reason. That’s why when he says “I’ve always been this way, Maria she knew. She loved me anyway.” It was him finally embracing the truth. He was THE PUNISHER, and everyone including him needs to realize it. It was him telling everyone either let him do what needs to be done.
Let me get this straight all of them had a pitty party and they all wished each other well… BUT when Frank does a pitty party they all don’t want to be there!?!?
It always irked me how Amy had the AUDACITY to comment about being in this situation because of Frank. YOU caused the majority of this. Had Frank ignored you and the threat, this wouldn't be happening.
How could you kill this series off? Frank is easily my favourite character. He never succumbed to the cheesy, painful unfunny, superhero cliche that goes around now. He's believable.
The stains of the self righteous blinds them to the often harsh necessary action that must be taken to protect those worthy of companionship. Let that sink in.
I love how he says he spoke to his wife.... Madani face looking like "Man WTF are you on?You know how long We been sitting here waiting FOR YOU?! What you mean your wife? What are you talking about?!!" But before Madani could curse him out... Curtis just goes along with it... Basically says "Oh yeah "Did she tell you how out of line you are..?" Hoping Frank found some sense in the time he was gone... And Amy is just listening...then engages as well...Madani trying to figure out how the hell she got in this situation...knowing she should arrest Frank crazy ass, but she wont cause hes right....and she hates Billy too...Amy just wanna go back to her little crime life and scamming....Curtis just wanna go home...But they cant cause they all need each other and they got love for Frank.....Its a hot mess...🤯🤯They're all just like a crazy dysfunctional fam....😌😂🙏🏽🙏🏽
I love how the last episode Detective Mahoney said Curtis you should go home. Curtis said there's nothing more I want to do but go home. 😂. I'm happy Curtis made it home because I thought he was gonna die during the Season.
For soldiers it never ends Madani. Heck Curtis was one he should get that, but apparently he doesn't. There is always another battle for us or another fight whether it is actually on the battlefield or here at home. Conflict will always exist because humans are flawed and imperfect.
I really don't think people really get just how alike Frank and Batman are. Both can do things that other "heroes" can't do and are able to go further than others will, because it is needed. No compromise, no escape, no forgiveness. Justice. Only thing that I think really separates them is that Frank is willing to kill and Batman wont.
Batman sees his parents death over and over again. Punisher sees his wife and kids dying over and over again. It's never ending. The Bat Family also had a pity party and Bruce told them I was Batman even when I was a child after witnessing my parents murder.
If I have a family someday and if someone killed them trust me I'd find out who did it needless to say everyone involved will die a long painful death is an understatement
People attack him for what he does...but they're wrong,they don't understand how does it feel to lose someone you love...people call him criminal only because he kills 'em all...but i don't agree with 'em...he lost his family so what should he do? HE NEEDS TO STOP THEM
I truly hate what happened to this series. You can very easily see the point that everyone was told that this season would be the last due to the buyout. It went from scenes like this to crap that looked like a bad Monte Python or 3 Stooges skit. I wish we could have seen where this could have gone.
Because until the end of season 2. She hasn't grow up yet because she believed in her moral code, justicia and the right thing above all. And Frank showed her that sadly, the good part of the law is nothing with the corrupted part

I actually respect the show for resolving Frank's character arc midway through the season instead of unnaturally dragging it out for 13 episodes
Some fans wish it was resolved at the end of Daredevil Season 2.
