The Mighty PANTERA!! That Video was filmed at the basement in Dallas,TX. Being from North Texas and about an hour from Dime & Vinnie we knew them before the world did. Seen my first show in 1984. REST IN POWER DIME & VINNIE!!! 🤘
Pantera was Awesome! No costumes nothing fake. Just jamming out. Phil tore up his back Just jumping around going wild!
I remember hearing this song for the first time and was amazed with Dime's sound. I had to hear more Pantera.
Pantera, depressing? Nah. I thought she was into it by the face she made when Phil screamed. Let her listen to A New Level. Nothing depressing about that.

Only time I ever saw Pantera the audience started tearing the stage apart at the front and set it on fire. I was glad I was in the cheap seats lol
When someone says, “I don’t think I’d listen to it again”, I don’t think they “liked it”. She looks like she’s tolerating it, while she’s listening. 😬
One of my favorite songs of all time, when I was in Iraq I would listen to this every time I got ready to roll out on mission.

It's high energy, fun, you either get it or not.
sadly i don't think the wife has 'it.' you can tell the husband has heavy metal in his blood. for a certain group of ppl hard rock and metal is one of the best things in the world. for others the very sound of an overdriven guitar is abrasive. the lady seems to be in the second group.
Sometimes the 'it' takes a while to come out,or be adjusted to. She might become a hardcore fan eventually,given some more exposure.
Play the entire Cemetery Gates song, it'll grow on her. Its definitely their most commercial song. Its overplayed and over reacted to but for beginners its perfect.
My "not too scary" suggestion for her is to try...

Went to a show in Dallas years ago. Lead singer & guitarist goes on stage wearing a 49'ers sweatshirt.(in Dallas!).Tells the crowd he lost a bet with Steve Perry in Journey & he had to wear it.Then he rips it off& sez: We won't play a note until this comes back in pieces no larger than postage stamps! Then tossed it into the crowd. Within 5 mins it was back on the stage,mostly on fire
Then they played their asses off with burning sweatshirt all around them on stage.FUN DAYS! These guys were great live! One night they were on the road in Iowa,I think. Guy comes onstage & pops two pills into is head & killed.him dead!

Dude, your wife is absolutely beautiful! I say that with the utmost respect! She's got not only outer beauty, but you can tell she has inner beauty as well. She seems so sweet, innocent & wholesome...& you're tormenting her mind with this music! LOL Don't ruin her! They don't make em like that anymore!
This is the 4th video I've seen of yours & I have to disagree with your comments that the 90's was the best music. Although I'm probably old enough to be your dad, I feel the best music came from the late 60's up through the 80's for rock, & as far as country, up to 2000. The newer country is crap! Too pop & rap for me, but that's just my opinion.
I'd like to see some reaction videos of older music...60's through the 80's.
If you're into southern rock, give Blackberry Smoke a try! They remind me of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd band. You can pop in the CD & listen over & over without skipping over any songs!
