"practice alchemy" is unfair lol. We are going to slay an Eliksni vampire Fikrul who took control of one of the Traveler's echos, and dealing with the "oops, no more eliksni homeplanet" conundrum. I'm willing to bet 5 euros that his "Vampire tower" is going to be one of the 2 dungeons this year.
To be fair, for this wave of episodes they themed like the fallout of the Witness death.

Well they aren’t recollections, but rather moments in time. Which is why it bugs me that the Devil’s Layer strike has all Fallen wearing House Dusk robes, despite the Devils banners and your Ghost literally saying “look at all those Devils”.

I think the name "Frontiers" is a pretty big tease for what they have planned. Seems pretty clear to me that they intend for the next saga in Destiny to be leaving Sol and going out and exploring the universe.
i saw a report from the same person that leaked the concept of prismatic talking about how destiny 3 is under development and codenamed frontiers

Well, it was probably best location in D1. Let's hope they bring it back with a map though, that thing was confusing as hell to navigate.
I hope they make lots of secrets and puzzles to uncover and solve in the patrol zones.
he said in the video that echoes had spread across "the galaxy" instead of the system. i think its pretty clear where were headed and this is about as much confirmation they can give without spoiling literally everything.

There were hints in a recent TWID that we'd be learning more about/ going to Lubrae, as well
I always imagined we'd be going to Torobatl at some point. Hell maybe we'll end up going to Riis or even Fundament. If that's the case I'm all for it.
My impossible pipe dream scenario is that year 11 is when we actually go out to all of the places we’ve heard of but barely seen like Torobatl, Riis, and even maybe Fundament and establish a foothold on them and the surrounding system.

I'd say just dark souls based. Much as I love LOVE Bloodborne, there isn't much armor or fashion in Bloodborne that I can see working with Titans. Bloodborne I'd say caters to Hunters and Warlocks, whereas say, the Soul of Cinder armor, or something based on the Elite Knight set, could work for Titans.

i think frontiers is that we will go to different star systems (torobatl and riis) which is heavily hinted in final shape dialogue (micah talking about how she wants to see riis, and zavala saying that if caiatl wishes to take back torobatl he will help)

I think its going to be cool seeing new and old villains being given an insane immense power. Like maybe Savathun will look to the echoes and become power hungry. I hope Fikrul becomes a main boss level villan.

I think it’s less that they don’t know, and more that they don’t want to tell us yet. Producing games takes a long time and anything coming out next year has already been in production for a bit.
It’s one of two things it’s either D3 I would imagine a new system since d1 was is trying to leave the system d2 was big bad witness stopping us so it would follow or we just get another annual expansion 😭 I doubt the community would like to do anymore then a year of episodes/ seasons without somthing depending on how good they are

Fikrul doesn't stay dead due to a wish that was made by Uldren before Forsaken released. The Fanatic (unlike the rest of the Scorn) has shown no signs to remain dead for good. That wish may be what is keeping him constantly returning. I say "may be" but it probably is 100% without a doubt the reason he keeps on returning.

Bungie said that Dreadnaught will be the place connected to the new seasonal activity rather than a full destination, similar to Titan in Season of the Deep.

year11, frontiers will continue our search for echoes. as we can see there are at least 12 echoes that escaped the traveler. if we are picking up 1 echo per episode, that’d be 4years worth of content.
4 years, just enough time for destiny 3 to be sort of well made (and also engine fixes)

@@assassinwolf2719 I dont see why destiny 3 is even wanted...it'll be destiny 2 base game all over again... A barebones game with 10% of the content destiny 2 has already built up. Unless they actually change how the game will be, then it is not worth for them to recode everything for a new launch.
@@dylancovella1447 I agree. Bungie didn’t want to create a Destiny 2 and wanted Destiny (like Warframe) to be one game, but Activision forced them to make a sequel. If Bungie say Destiny 3 ain’t happening. It ain’t happening. They just announced a mobile version for Destiny. That could very well be project payback we heard about. Why make a mobile version of Destiny if they’re already “allegedly” making a Destiny 3? Lastly, Bungie is busy with Marathon. How can they make Destiny 3 if the whole studio isn’t developing it (especially with the layoffs). These Destiny 3 rumors are complete nonsense. Even the leaker said Bungie tossed around the idea of a Destiny 3 but they quickly scrapped it and focused on improving the Final Shape.

I think in Fikruls case he just doesn't stay dead. Like the strike where we kill him canonically comes after we killed him in the Forsaken campaign (we did get him there, right?) and I believe it's also canonical that we had done that strike multiple times.
I half remember lines similar to "Fikruls back again, lets go kill him again." at the start of the strike, at least.

Honestly I’m really looking forward to frontiers, I love final shape but in a different frame of mind we are stuck in the same conflict for ten years. We can now try new things, locations, factions outside of our local solar system power struggles. We faced a universal threat but ONLY in our solar system so there’s so much more out there.

Frontiers sounds like exploration… which, takes me back to the leaks which said we are leaving Sol. Those same leaks were almost 100% correct about The Final Shape. The Fikrul theming is the most interesting to me, just because it fits the eerie, horror mystery vibe of D1 Vanilla

For frontiers, I believe it was recently that lore was dropped revealing that a cryptarch decrypted coordinates from rhulks pyramid, hinting that their lubraes coordinates. I would absolutely love to go there
Between Heresy's navigator armor, going back to the Dreadnaught, and Year 11 codenamed Frontiers I think it's pretty likely we're taking Oryx's car for a spin around the galaxy.

I think with Marathon *probably* coming out within the next 18 months, Im honestly assuming for now that "Codename Frontiers" is going to be a group of more episodes just so that the studio can lock-in for release
Oh that is so fucking good. The stuff from the Vex network becoming real? It's supported by lore. The Light gives shape, it gives mass, it imbues things with qualities. The Darkness uses *MEMORY* as a supporting structure, so the Light and Dark both coming together with the Vex? Memory made real by the Light. Literally, as in random access memory (or whatever the Vex use for storage)
We all need MORE! Got us frothing in our pale hearts at the prospects of what's to come for the future of D2, Especially year 11.

Im really hoping in episode three we take over the dreadnaught since its technically our throne world since we killed oryx and then we possibly pilot it to new solar systems which would make sense with codename frontiers
I'm intrigued by Revenant. We basically know the least about it other than Fallen and potion table. Interested to see how the whole monster hunter thing plays out and I love the armor (but that navigator set in Heresy is peak).
My first thought was the old Star Trek speech ‘space, the final frontier’ does this maybe mean we’ll be poking our noses into other systems? Helping out Caiatl maybe with Torabotl?

I would guess the "Frontier" things might be set to Torobath ( Cabal planet ) to liberate as a main plot point
T.b.h allthough they said they wouldn't end Destiny, the cutscene after the big finale instilled a grand feeling of emptiness. I think I, and many other people needed this teaser. It gave an odd sense of hope for those of who D2 became some part of their life. This is my personal view/experience, but I have found quite a few likeminded comments on twitter and reddit in the short span of time since the teaser released. You're the best Datto, please take a decent rest whenever you have the chance.
The Hint was the code name frontier. We’re traveling to other solar systems like the lore has been hinting at for a while now. Surprised how few people made that connection. All our Ally’s that helped us defeat the witness lost there home worlds, we will help them get them back.

Many seasons ago drifter said something about exploring deep space with his ghost and the derelict, I would find it interesting if not MORE, that they explore the traveler and it's origins and just go off on a treasure planet type of angle and just explore deep space following the traveler to its origins that would be amazing and a endless ideas type of story
Be interesting what happens with the Fallen, especially if the scorn are involved. What with crow being hunter vanguard now.
