Well to be fair, they did get the full titanic experience plus more!
I was the Yak-3 in the beginning. I wanted to take the fight but I had trouble approaching the first time as i was basically about to rip so I had to abandon my first two attempts on you. And you always did the right thing and were faster than me and I totally didnt expect a Fw 190 to turn that well, it wasnt really a fight.
Been learning most of what i knew from your videos, so thanks for being in a video as an educative example for once lol.
Most people watching him including myself already have trouble simply flying like he does. And then there is the situational awareness and aim on top.
By asking yourself what went wrong and how you could do better next time you're already above the majority of the playerbase!

@@Shandout my main problem is aim, I been watching DEFYN for some years now and i'm able to fly each plane I own as intended..but then my aim usually leaves a bit to be desired
@@vashbain3136 From my POV DEFYN's ability comes down to knowledge, awareness, experience and aim. You can have every info about your and your opponent's plane and know if its the best option to attack him, but if you cant get the guy out quick enough and have to do multiple passes to secure your kill, then you are in trouble because other players will spot you and come for you. DEFYN is an assassin since he comes and gets the kill most of the times on his first engagement/pass with the enemy and can leave the area ASAP. If you mantain yourself on the same place, people will notice and come for you
This F8 secured a match for me yesterday. He didn't get any kills but he baited literally the entire enemy team low, so I could clean em up in my Yak3U
I wish there was some kind of assist mechanic for that kind of thing. People baiting enemies low or into a stall can be game changing yet they get nothing out of it lol
@lemonshark3 I agree, it's like if you get a maneuver kill. There should be some sort of reward
Yeah it’s a good idea but there’s almost no way they could make the game keep track of stuff like that
@@user-px4wv3gb1hI don't think so. If you J out in proximity of an enemy it gives them the kill. I'm sure it wouldn't be impossible to give an assist to people that have an enemy on their 6

Great video as always. "We now have critted three people this match, and have nothing to show for it." I hope they fix real shatter and the MG151's ever, would be delighted to come back to the game, but as it stands I find most guns so unsatisfying and unrewarding that I'd rather simply play other games instead.
I had a great 152H game where I put about 15 20mm rounds into a Yak-3 VK-107 with just some hits and a crit to show for it. I did manage to kill him, but I had to hit a 30 for it to happen.

F190 is my absolute favorite prop planes in the game, even more the A1, it is a true rocket, and man, diving at jet speed at br3.0 while keeping it’s maneuverability is just so OP… And the cannons… 🗿

Please do a video about Wyvern, since the sales started i loose every game to whole teams full of those, its time to take matters into my own hands, by this plane is kinda tricky to to fight with.
Not much you can do if they play it right... Sometimes, you just gotta capitalise on their mistakes.
But most Wyverns pilots don't do the climb to intercept (they bomb stuff, die or rtb, etc).
Step 1: don't head on
Step 2: turn
Step 3: repeat until you get firing solution

@nahnothnx4608 turn is great until you realise they didn't and they are 50km away...
And by default if you're getting another turn they have bled speed and you'll get a good amount of time to shoot and so on. So it comes back to Good and Bad wyvern pilots
First clip in this video reminded me of a pet peeve I have with other people: Its when a plane which is better than you in every way, and the player has the "Ace" or "God of War" title and yet wont take the fight with me despite being given multiple opportunities to do it, and instead they'll just run away.
One time when I called a player out on this they called it "defensive flying".
I'm in a F3H-2 and him a MiG-21. What are you defending from when you have multiple kilometers of separation and a huge energy advantage compared to me?
No sense taking a risk with a fight when you don't have to. Better to guarantee you survive and can help later, than to risk an engagement you're not certain of winning

103s work when they hit, however, you strap those guns on (with let's be honest limited ammo) and you then rely on people to do stupid things. Being air rb it probably happens more often then it should but as soon as you run into someone smart, what are you gonna do🙃 You then begin to rely on luck.
@liamboyle9199 It's dual high velocity 30mm cannons with minengeschoß. They need really good trigger discipline, but they're no harder to hit a target with than the mg151s, and when a MK103 hits its target, that target damn well stays hit.

Its not that bad, its a sniper plane i had my best run this year with 7 Player Kills with only one meager ammoload (15mm and 7.92mm ) in the Bf109F-2 , most of my victims in this game were Spits Mk I/II , Ki-61s and I-16 while i was last player in blue team when i made the first Kill , plane and ammo are ok for me but the constant overheating even with 93% Power is a real problem in this plane.
Is the same plane as the 109 f1 but at a higher br and with a worst gun. And DEFYN already covered the f1 a while ago.
I mained 190's for years because of my shit aim lol. The plethora of guns really helps with that. But when my aim got better I started hating the turn rate so much. The roll rate in a zoom is lovely though.
They feel kinda like a slightly more manoeuvrable P47, but with cannons and worse bomb load. Bloody good fun and have incredibly strong takeoff flaps for when you just need that little edge in a turn.

It's a 190. Great guns, solid engine, great roll rate, bad turn rate. Most of what he says here about the F8 applies to the D13.

Is it just me or does the F-8 actually have surprisingly good performance for a "ground attack" variant? If you don't take the gunpods, it actually feels like it climbs and turns better than all of the Anton models with the exception of the A-5/U-2. I play AB, but I'm sure some of the flight model characteristics carry over into RB as well.

I meanly play top tier jets only, but decided to play props and i was surprised i can't get a single kill, any tips ?
Do not expect anything but the very basics to transfer. Essentially you need to learn the lead times for the guns on your plane, and focus on being patient. The vast majority of your energy for the entire match comes from your climb at the beginning, as once you lose your altitude and speed it is incredibly hard to regain either.

What is a very beginner friendly plane to start to learn air battles in? Got britain china italy and usa to tier 3 just to get some cas, but i still really struggle in air duels. So i would like a middle of the pack performing vehicle with some ammo to start to learn some basics instead of a brainless grind for the cas

BF 109s are great for that. Respectable armament, usually great ammunition, solid agility, amazing power to weight ratio, retain energy incredibly well.

Hey! You basically play all fw190s the same... Just as shown in the video ( get above others). The thing with the dora is that many shots seen above are not possible because the elevator sucks
@johajoja6474 Elevator is actually pretty okay, just don't dive steeply on someone who's below 1km altitude and expect to live. Also remember that the takeoff flaps only break off at 700km/h, meaning you can almost always use them
This is my favourite prop plane bar none, but I'm also a weird person who loves the Sturmvogel... which I recently rediscovered after almost 7 years.
Prop battles start so slow, but this one starts with a bang, it's a genuine team player just because of its oppressive early game presence. Yes, it is a challenge, but it's good enough and a lot of fun.

F8, the A8 sacrifices too much firepower for performance. If you're in a squad the A8 can work well, but with the current situation (16 players teams) you will just get overwhelmed if playing by yourself.

They can be quite good, but you have to be much more careful about your positioning, and the guns won’t bail you out of sticky situations as easily.
A5/U2 is so good, especially with since it was down tiered

Not really aware of the MG151's current state but I played a couple matches with the ShVaks (on the I-225) and those things annihilated anything I looked at. Could have been just rng luck, tho...
I find that they don't do too much damage just aimed at broad areas of a plane (wings, fuselage, etc), but when they hit a module they'll either blow it off the plane or set it on fire. Makes the 151/20s great against fighters, but they suffer against particularly large bombers
Like the F8, the A8 absolutely beats the brakes off of nearly everything it comes across
They are good, but I have no issues beating them in my P51D30, F4U-4 or P47D. Just gotta play it right.
In American planes, if you use speed, energy and patience, (and against 190’s- turn!) you will beat just about anything.
190’s are not hard to beat. Especially the Dora models.
That being said, the F8 is the best Fw190 in my opinion.

@@HeyBigChrissi think Doras are better, they climb almost like a K4 while turning more at medium and high speed, and while they're still focke wulf planes they have the room to commit a mistake and run away + climb, since Antons Dont have the engine power to do so.
@@HeyBigChriss for sure. They’re easy to beat and I’ll take a fight against one any day no hesitation. But with enemy teams having the combined IQ of a walnut and decent aim, a 5 to 1 kd in the A8 makes it like my second highest kd in the game or something close to that
