My only concern in paying for a lifetime cloud storage is , what happens to your account, if the company goes bankrupt within few years after you have purchased th storage paying for 10TB ?? Please respond if you have explored the flip side of it ..
I’ve used it a year and a half, I haven’t had any issues with downloading. Once in a blue moon it might be a bit slow but it could also be my internet speed.
Hmm I've been downloading videos from :30 seconds to 20 minutes M-F for a year+, time varies sometimes but overall I'm very happy with them and also fyi their support email responds within a day usually. Today I just downloaded 3 short videos : :47 second video took 5 seconds :54 second video took longer: 40 seconds :45 second video took 3 seconds. Hope this helps!

Nothing would immediately "happen". However, if you select US storage it means that US rules and laws apply. Due to that, it means basically that the US government can request from pCloud to make all their storage accessible to them and you wouldn't even now. Related to this topic, you might want to google "FISA court" and "Edward Snowden". Hence the advice to change the storage location to Europe, where Swiss laws apply, which offer you far greater privacy for your data. Unless there is an actual criminal investigation going on against you and it's ordered by the court, pCloud cannot be forced to hand over your data.
that's a fair statement. However, pCloud has been around since 2013, and they have turned a profit since 2019. I have been a lifetime 2TB plan customer since 2019, so I guess I made back my money.
True, that can happen. They could (potentially - I doubt they'd kill their reputation that way) even withdraw the deal. But that is exactly why you never put all of your eggs in just one basket. Use a home server or NAS or another cloud service to back up the data to another location as well.
Always have 1 local backup and 1 cloud backup of your data. If 1 backup fails, you always have minimum 1 working backup available :o) So no need actually to have 2 cloud backups ...

..and what are you're download speed on their server.? I don't even get over 1MB/s .. don't recommend it so far!

@@TiffanyINCCould you be more specific about download speed. I got 1MB/s ish download speed all the time which is veeerryyy slow imo.

This information is just not helpful. what size in bytes are these videos? A 4k high bitrate video and a 480p phone recording can both be 50s long
