- For Easter dinner we decided to take advantage of the food trucks last night here in Samara, Costa Rica. We weren't disappointed! The $9 steak was amazing and the skewers were equally good! If you're ever in the City Mall near the San Jose airport definitely try their food!

You made me hungry...😋 If it wasn’t for Covid, I’d go to the Keg. I’ve read that it’s a problem getting a good quality steak in Costa Rica from the store?
Haha I bet you would! If you don't know what to look for or where to go then yes finding a good quality steak can be difficult. You have to buy Nicaraguan beef. It can be found locally from a meat guy that travels around or you go to Liberia and buy from San Martin which is a butcher/meat supplier or now pricesmart sells a good selection of Nicaraguan beef.
