The idea with the tortilla is to...1. take it off the stick, hold it in your hand, wrap it around the meat, pull out the stick, and eat the now tortilla and meat bundle. These things are called "Chuzo"s...shiskabobs done locally.
FOND MEMORIES of the Costa Rican beaches ! Florida beaches are so "sanitized" - stripped of all trees, no vendors allowed, and of course PAY for parking and even entrance !
2000 for that little cup of ceviche seems expensive....right? but if it was fresh and good may be worth it. I was just surprised. I thought you could get like a 4lb bag of ceviche for like $5,
It depends on the type of fish used and this was a high quality fish. We have made more then enough to cover what we paid this day to help support local entrepreneurs and this is our goal to help people with gaining business. We have our patreon set up to accept monthly donations to use to pay for making videos. In the end $3 is cheap for what we received 😊
hey guys, make a video on the police/fire/judicial and emergency services there. Do they give out parking or speeding tickets and how does expats pay for them?

Calling stuff on a tortilla a "Taco" is Mexican, "Gallo" is what they call them in Tico. "Taco" in Tico is what they call a "Flauta" in Mexican.
