I think actually love Horror Land, in Superstars specifically, because with the cursed dice block, and custom dice block, you can intentionally stall the day and night, which can allow for a lot more strategies than in Mario Party 2, where it was legit my second least favorite board in Mario Party 2.
Random thoughts before my big one. Hope you sister and cousins own this and you guys play online together to relieve those summers! Finally someone else who loves Running of the Bulb, which is one of the greatest minigames of all time! Okay, now for my big one. You touched on this at the end of your video and I launched my channel just to talk about this, but this should absolutely be a franchise. However, this game needs 64 DLC because too many great boards from that era have not been remade. They should also add in a few more 64 minigames with the DLC packs/waves, and then that will put a nice bow on the 64 era which this game heavily focused on. Then for Superstars 2, it’s all about the Gamecube. You could still have a few different minigames from the other games, like Hexagon Heat since this game already had Mushroom Mix Up, but the minigames selection for Superstars 2 would only be one or two minigames from each of the N64 games instead of half. Again, the big focus would be the Gamecube. They could bring back a few of the already remade minigames, like Leaf Leap and Pushy Penguins, but I still think there’s a lot of great minigames that weren’t remade. You even listed some of them from MP7! However, the big focus would be the Gamecube boards, because that’s what Mario Party is. They can bring back the DK space, bring back orbs, and all the things that made the Gamecube era the Gamecube era.
So wait you want to play mario party as you did as a kid? Do you want to play mariokart like snes was or mk8? There different controls. Mario party 9 was awesome. The choice challenge and garden battle are so much fun i don't mind the car either. I have played mario part since its release on the 64 and i love 8,9,10. I think motion controls are how mp should be played but my 45 year old ass isn't lazy and just want to sit down on tje couch/chair and button mash on my controller . There isn't in skill in that. I feel the ones who dont like motion controls are usually the ones who suck at it. I loved smashing on people at mariokart with the wheel while everyone else had a controller 😂. Im glad to see motion controls back in mario. Superstar was lame because of not having it
I feel like the decline started with mario party 5 (might be preference) after changing items to capsules. Items were much cooler (again personal preference). I also feel like the games since the GC era weren't as stylized as the n64 games, it kinda made it loose the Mario party charm, one more than the other. Mario party 4 was good, Mario party 5 was meh (they removed Dk as a playable char D: ) and it went downhill ever since. And we all know what a hot mess Mario Party 8 was. Again that is all personal preference! Mario party superstars on the other hand actually feels great looks great plays Great (except the balancing (item prize, lucky spaces, battlefield, chance time, Koopa bank, etc.) the balancing is weird, they should keep it more like in the originals, but money for the 2nd and 3rd place is a cool addition), it is a good comeback for the series, hope they continue with the original gameplay desinge and make new boards, I am interested if they learnt anything and can make great boards themselves now.
Sorry but this game kinda sucks. Only 2 good maps cake map and horror land. The rest are awful. The economy is so inflated everyone uses chomp calls and Golden pipes. The only good thing about the game is the mini games and those two boards. Sadly very mid to bad Mario party

Well made video. Please give this video support, likes, and love!
While I wouldn’t say it’s the best in the series (I personally prefer 2 and 3), but this still looks amazing! Can’t wait to finally get it.
