As a newbie to drone life, I have been binge watching so many of the DJI Mini 2 videos that I can't find time to actually fly my aircraft. I have previously watched Aldryn's case video as well as many of his and your instructional videos. I bought the DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo Kit about a month ago, so I am currently using the case that came in that kit. However, I do like the stylishness of Aldryn's cases and I can see where they would be well suited for inclusion in a much larger bag, case or backpack. Keep up the great work, Russ. I look forward to more of what you have to offer.
Watched FlytPath's video on the case when it came out. Looks like an excellent case. The problem with most cases is they are cheaply built. They took their time and added little details like the leather to bump it up a notch. Thanks for all the info you put out.
Thanks for admitting your issues here in a public forum Russ. I have CGAS (Chronic GAS) and it brings me comfort to know that there are others like me ! So watched Aldryn's video and actually ordered a set. As for Mini 3, I say November-ish.
Not sure when the Mavic 3 will be released, but your channel along with Flytpath, increased my comfort level enough to enter the drone photography space with the Mini 2. Prior to watching this video, I had already ordered from Batch 2 of Aldryn's cases. Thank you for the work you do.
My best guest is that Mini 3 will be released January next year. Saw the video and it looks really. Thinking of getting one for my new mini 2 Awesome video. More power
Just got my first drone the Mini 2, so much to learn moving forward. 30 years of photography experience will help with some of the challenges but I definitely will have to learn how to fly it. Mavic 3 by the summer if I had to guess, all tech is moving fast now a days. Great video thanks fr sharing as well as the Flypath video.
I have the charger you mention and I love it. I can fly through 4 batteries 3 times a day if I want to. I have now purchased the equivalent charger for my Air 2S.
Love Love Love modular systems , the belt loop is genius - I'm a retired photographer and I had a separate belt to carry the lens pouches and access Loved it !! Congrates on this product :) 3 of these would be a complete kit for me for a day of flying :) Msg left LOL

Hey Russ, A few extra essentials for my environment and flying style. Watching others' research I am convinced that motor caps are beneficial in the high smog and often dusty environment of the North Texas DFW environment where I fly. Next, I fly a LOT at night and a Firehouse ARC V strobe is my best so far. Over water I use a polarizing filter for glare and have found some type flotation or "Bobber" float/recovery system is essential! DJI Care does not replace your drone if you do not return the old one. Flotation or a bobber-line attached to your drone does NOT save your drone from damage. Either does enhance/allow recovery for replacement. You also get back the memory card, filters and any accessories not damaged by water. Memory cards have survived 4 months underwater with files intact. Being old, with poor eyesight, a PGYTech mount (best spring and mount for my full size tablet) and large tablet allow me to safely see the screen icons and information. I hope these are valuable to others!
I just ordered my mini and can't wait to learn how use it, (it'll be my 1st real drone) I wouldn't be surprised if we see the Mavic iii within the next 2 years with all the research I have done on drones before purchasing this one

I have the helicopter landing legs they allow you to land on the smallest of surfaces. I actually bought it for my original mini but it fits my mini 2 so that's a big plus that it fits both, it's a must have accessory!...
The skis were a must have for the Mini and now the Mini 2. Great product! Plus, we all have "GAS!" As for the Mavic 3, I'd speculate late 2021 or early 2022.
I really enjoy watching your videos, so well explained, and like your recommendations showing the different accessories we can buy in order to enjoy our new toy. Very anxious to see what will be the differences between the Mini 2 & Mini 3 that will probably be available in 2022.
