Brooke and Jason have already decided to keep bandit and Rocky, Lester and Jamie from ima survivor are always rescuing dogs in need of home's and have had a litter of puppies from one of the rescues x

@@MarilynCKing-me6yh I simply love Cog Hill Farm, it's animals, and Jason, Brooke, and Mary Carl. They are all so intelligent, loving, always positive, and I love the way they share their lives. No negativity. My younger brother is much like that. He has never uttered a negative statement in his life. He's always finding the good in everything. He never gets upset and loves his animals and family unconditionally.
So happy to see the puppies have blended on the farm so well. And that Rocky pulled through and doing so well. God is soo good!!! Much love to you all and all of the animals!!

You showed a clip of Moody laying in the pasture so contented. It reminded me when you first got him what a wanderer he was. I don’t think he’ll be leaving this farm. They were helping you Daddy. They were digging some for you. :) I just love watching your home place take shape. Warmed my heart to see the puppies and Holly playing and how lil Rocky has survived and doing so well. I knew if anyone could do it, y'all could.
My Aunt and Uncle had a beautiful scuppernong vine at their garden. It was tall enough to stand under, but low enough to reach the top to pick. She would call me every October and say "Want to come over and stand under the scuppernong and visit?" My answer was always yes!
It is so nice to see the puppies acting like puppies should. You are going to have a big group of LGDs to keep the farm friends safe!

Bandit is applying for the job as chief farm hand and planter! He says Peaches is the boss lady, Nugget is the sheriff, Mildred is the goat nanny and Holly and Arlo are Jason's right hand chores helpers, so he figures he can step in as planter helper!

I grew up with my grandparents and my grandaddy had a set up for his grapes like you described. He called it the grape arbor. But he raised concorde (sp) grapes, and my grandmother made grape jelly and grapejuice out of them. So good. I admire your patience and dedication to the puppies you rescued. I'm sure they will grow into great farm dogs. Love to you all.

Looks like someday you're going to be selling fruits from your little veggie stand in coming years! Fabulous Orchard, Jason! When I dug up my back yard in Ky my little Boston terrier helped me dig out the tree roots. All I had to do was say "help" and she was on them, pulling till they snapped off!

Fun Fact: Here in North Carolina, Muscadines grew wild in TREES! My Daddy remembers having to climb trees and cut the bunches of grapes out. The skin was very thick and almost leathery. I picked wild muscadines when I was a kid. I'm 80 years old now!
@@rebeccarankin2691 Oh wow! Were they in trees? I remember swinging on the vines in the woods.
@@familydutton6568 There are all kinds of vines in the woods. Not all are Muscadines. Muscadines do grow on vines and vines do need a host, hence trees when growing in the wild. They produce in Small clusters but not like grapes. Pick them individually, not in large clusters like grapes. Many people confuse muscadines with scupernons which can grow in the wid but do grow in large clusters which can be picked in clusters. Both scupernons and muscadines make a very sweet wine, and both make a good Jelly. Skins can be a bit tough. I grew up and still live in the Piney Woods of East Texas. Our farmland consisted of 170 acres of land, 30 of which was wooded with hardwoods and pines. It was a land grant issued to my ancestors by General Sam Houston, President of the Republic of Texas. My brother still lives on that land.

Kids today have no idea how much fun they could be having. Of course due to all the construction of houses there's not many "woods" left where I grew up. My great grandfather was the first to build his home place and they had nine children born on the land where my brother is now raising his three. I love hearing about family roots and the history.

I just love how you brought the puppies out and let them roam and have fun while you were digging planting all the trees puppies need that stimulation now that they’re feeling better before you know it they’ll be staying outside all the time you might have to build yourself a dog house so those babies can sleep in those boys are big and I mean big the growing fast❤❤

We called it a grape arbor when I lived in Atlanta in 1960. Now I know why I've never had those grapes as an adult! They must have been muscadine grapes. I remember them being so delicious right off the vine every year!
Seeing all the pups playing together is a truly blessed sight. Not only does Holly have playmates, but it helps reduce the playing load off Rocky (with Bandit) as he regains his strength.
