Racing puma's are cool, I had a 1.7 puma, i loved it because it felt solid and was quick around town, unlike fiestas which felt abit tacky in comparison. Only reason i got rid was because the rear suspension swing arms rusted.

My brothers Cobra has had a misfire when hot for quite a while, it was sourced by taking the covers off the coil packs, when hot they were extruding the plastic from inside and the insulation was breaking down. Misfire not always there, only when hot having run for a while.
Does it have a ford engine? Some years had problematic coil packs. And the aftermarket cheapies are usually more failure prone. Not a huge deal on something that isn't a daily driver, but if it is a ford motor the best options are modern oem replacements...
