Day 1 of the Goodwood Festival of Speed began my search for the brand new G81 BMW M3 Touring, the first M3 Touring since a secret 1-off E46 model. During my search I found some skid-happy supercars and a very special road-legalised weapon in a hotel car park!

Thanks AdamC for sharing another great video that Porsche Kremer 962 was first MOT back in February this year and I got to see it drive at supercar Sunday at Goodwood Motor circuit wouldn’t it be amazing to see more of these on the road

Several years ago at silverstone I stumbled on an xjr 9 in the general carpark in full silk cut livery. Thought it must be a replica… closer inspection showed it was indeed an original converted to road spec. Unbelievably cool 😎

Was there on Friday myself. Be returning next year in a Lotus Evora or Exige and a friend of mine will be in convoy with his S14a. Might be able rope a fox body mustang to -murder the crowd- come along as well

I’m pretty certain the 962 is that owned by Martin Overington, who also races a pre-war Bentley. He owns a construction company and is the owner of the Hotel de France in La Chartre sur Le Loir near Le Mans. Really down to earth bloke and typical of him to allow public access to this awesome car. It’s the real thing and I have a photo of it on a trailer being towed by the Bentley 😱
The HdeF was the location discovered by John Wyer and used to base his winning teams for AM Ford/Gulf and Porsche from the 50’s to the early 70’s.🏁
As you will see from my channel on YT, I’m a LM obsessive and own a property facing the HdeF.

Goodwood festival of speed is a grate day out, not been there for a while the last time I went there I got my picture taken and my cool art picture I brought signed by Colin mcrae the rally driver that sadly past away a month or two after I see him there it was a real treat as he was my idle when growing up, 💯💯👍👍👊👊
