What a very different engine sound to any other Cobra that’s been featured on these builds, it has more of a snarl to it and the rev band appears to be more driver friendly and much less frantic sounding. It doesn’t take away at all from the raw visceral nature of an analog car; it looks as if it’s more “controllable” and less of those “oh f... I am in over my driving abilities “ !! Judging by how calm Vinny looks as you’re running through the gears multiple times is a testament to your driving skills and comfortability behind the wheel. He said it well it’s the pro touring version of what have come to know a Cobra to be, also the color combination is really unique both on the exterior and in the engine bay. It looks like an absolute blast to drive from watching this and even though you’re sitting with your feet canted to the left your heel toe rev matches on the downshifts appear effortless and very clean. The second number in tire sizing is the sidewall aspect ratio (or more accurately aspect percentage). The sidewall aspect is that listed percentage of the tread width, so 30% of 335mm by the numbers displayed.
Vinny's got it going on...Congrats man!!! Your garage is every guy's envy. I'm hopefully retiring at the end of this year and have been looking at Back Draft's w the 427's. This video has completely changed my mind. Since the R came out it has been my preference and now that I hear it is more manageable and drives that much better vs the other two brands ..I'm all in. This is the motor for me. Perfect set up, and Shawn thanks for getting up the rev band some! One question. Which are the better car lifts? Thanks Guys.
I always said this engine and the coyote are a perfect fit power wise for the Cobra. It is more than anyone needs. I absolutely love the Aluminator and a while back I convinced an acquaintance to go with the lower compression ratio so he could add forced induction at a later date. It was a bitch getting the engine at that time due to lower numbers of them. He had debated doing it due to price and time but says he couldn't be happier. At that time you could get the engine ready to add forced induction and only real difference was lower compression pistons. I don't even see that as an option from Ford anymore as they have the 5.2 with charger on it. Same engine from 2020 GT500
I love this guy! His face having so much fun as a passenger in his own hot rod

So cool
This is hands down my personal favorite spec for a MKIII. 🥵 8:50 The Ford GT behind it almost looks like the MKIII has a black spoiler/wing, that would look sick!
What were you talking about, when you mention _a black spoiler/wing on the back? _
The second number in tire sizing is the sidewall aspect ratio (or more accurately aspect percentage). The sidewall aspect is that listed percentage of the tread width, so 30% of 335mm by the numbers displayed.
You learn something new everyday…thanks for that info
Dude that color is so sick!!! Shit this dudes car collection is bad ass.
Thanks brother!
Definitely a great build/spec and Vinny has some great rides
Vinny's got it going on...Congrats man!!! Your garage is every guy's envy. I'm hopefully retiring at the end of this year and have been looking at Back Draft's w the 427's. This video has completely changed my mind. Since the R came out it has been my preference and now that I hear it is more manageable and drives that much better vs the other two brands ..I'm all in. This is the motor for me. Perfect set up, and Shawn thanks for getting up the rev band some! One question. Which are the better car lifts? Thanks Guys.
You HAVE to do a vid on the Porsche I see in the background! Love the classic speedsters!!!
I found your channel from AutotopiaLA!
Yep….just yep! 👍
Vinny kudos . I would love to see some more of your rides
Check out his channel and we’ll be back to shoot more with him soon
Agree great balance for sure .Id be concerned a supercharger would make it too much of a rollerskate But 3rd and 4th gear....hellz yeah!
I’m kind of a Sasquatch and I doubt I’d fit in there but god dang it I’d sure like to try! 🤣 look like a damn Mario cart character
😂😂 love the Mario kart reference!
I'm 6'6" it's pushing the limits for a superformance. Borderline painful but still worth it
The sound coming out of this car is awesome
Intoxicating
Nice one !!! Love it.
sweet sweet ride
I had a Backdraft with a small block 427 and a Tremec TKO600. The car made me giggle. If I were to buy another one, I would get a superformance.
They have a tendency to do that 😂
Let Freedom Rev!!!!
Yes, THAT one I'll take, thanks ☝
Me too!
What A great build!
