Hello
1:07 Spelling mistake on unesco
I watched you since the very beginning and I'm going to miss this series once it is over. Thank you Barbs!
Hi! @@itnothing6271
Love your videos!💚
I loved the idea of "sending a correspondent" to the country to interview folks. Any plans to do it again before the series ends? Or just visit the remaining countries in general?
Ideally I would like to personally travel myself (who wouldn't want to see a new place like Vanuatu) but this video was taking place during Thanksgiving and I had to stay with mom and friends, LUCKILY Jakhon is also Australian (hence his accent) and was able to easily fly over there for a quick visit and he asked me if he could help with the episode!
2:53 Biggest Epic Moment "BLOOD OF THOSE WHO FIGHT FOR FREEDOM!"
It's BACK!!!
Pushing to the last letter!!! Rooting for y’all!
So close!
I asked a friend of mine from Vanuatu what they thought of the video, and they said the only thing missed was that if you're a tourist and walk most places then the locals will respect you a lot more and might give you the best hookups!
As a Kenyan the Vanuatu flag is my favorite flag among the pacific island countries it's beautiful
Same here. Kalontas Malon did a great job
THE Y SHAPE IS THE LAYOUT OF OUR COUNTRY VANUATU AND ALSO BELONGS TO YAHUA. VANUATU MEANS ETERNAL LAND.
VANUATU MOTTO IS : " IN GOD WE STAND" OUR CURRENCY IS "VATU" VATU MEANS "STONE".
There's another underwater post office in Norway
VANUATU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST COUNTRY!! BEST FLAG!!!!
It IS kind of a cool flag eh?
@@GeographyNow mhm
Vanuatus flag is one of my favourites
Indeed 🇻🇺🇻🇺🇻🇺🇻🇺🇻🇺
Just started watching your channel in the last month or so, and your already one of my favourite channels! Great video 👍
From the Vanuatu episode of GeographyNow I learned that New Caledonia is NOT Vanuatu. My whole life I thought that big long island was Vanuatu. lol
Haha really?! Although I can understand the connections between the titles of “Caledonia and the Hebrides”
@@GeographyNow I dunno why, I just always thought that big long island was Vanuatu. I look at maps a lot too so it's kind of weird that it took me until that episode to actually realize that's not part of the country... lol
I’m guessing “Yumi” is like “You and me” meaning “We” and “Stanap” is like “Stand up”?
Nooo! 😭 You missed my post card from Vienna Barbs, it seems it was hidden away under the package from Minnesota, and you didn’t notice it. You can see it at 7:44, right under the box. Me and my dad had sent it all the way back in Septemter, and waited all this time for it to reach you. Perhaps you can save it for the next episode? We've sent you some stuff before a few years ago, a package with some Serbian and Danish snacks, ajvar, faxe kondi etc.
Damn, that sucks.
Any fun capital city facts to share?
I'm currently watching a bunch of Geography Now episodes about Europe in anticipation of my Christmas holidays trip. First time ever going to Europe 🎉
I think you deserve a well earned break after you finish the Zimbabwe episode. Keep grinding my man👍
Ya know. I am truly gonna miss your videos when the nations are over. Your series is truly one of the greatest on UA-cam.
there are many types of indian food: home food, restraunt food, street food, snacks, sweets. And palak paneer is a home food but also be found in restraunt also
The vanuatu Episode was great ngl.
Thanks for the animation. Love seeing what people send you all of the world.
Amazing flag!Fantastic video. Like much curiosity about Vanuatu. There probably amazing place for practice Surf
Vanatau tripin 💀
2:54 please someone do a version of that with real guitars, or any kind of metal theme, geography now is coming to end and we deserve a badass version of "the blood of those who fight for the freedom"
The Venezuela Geography Now Episode Will Be Uploaded Soon Despite The Whole Hugo Chavez And Nicolas Maduro Political Drama Stuff.
Great content as always.
Vanuatu is awesome!
🇻🇺 episode was good to watch and learn.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
Well, the Zimbabwe episode is coming up real quick. I wonder what's next after all the countries are exhausted. Will this channel become a travel vlog channel? That sounds pretty cool.
I made a video explaining!
@@GeographyNowCan you link that video please?
@@Lord_PainHe made the video 2 months ago
@@GeographyNowwill you do Bougainville in 2027
After every country is done can we get a compilation of the red represents the blood of those who died fighting for the country.
I have a feeling like a ton of other people have probably already cut clips from my previous episodes and done it already. but HEY maybe on a social media post or something
Hi. I still enjoy the Flag/Fan day videos. I am from Caracas and I hope to help out in the Venezuela episode in some way.
Your videos are always so interesting
Thanks!
I love the Vanuatu flag, those leaves make it look unique
Well, you can change the lines of this flag's red to become…
"THE BLOOD OF THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE PLANET! THE BLOOD OF THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE PLANET!" 🇻🇺
What’s your thought on a sorta EU explainer video? A lot of people have already done it, but I’d personally like to see your more comedic take on it :) plus, you get to complain about how amazingly bureaucratic yet functional it is!!!
Not a bad suggestion! But I feel like there's a lot of other stuff I'd like to cover first (for example the next filler will be on the provinces of Indonesia! stay tuned!)
Hear me out barbs. After you finish Zimbabwe consider doing the 100 largest cities in the world but you have to live for a month in each one while documenting your life there, discovery channel style.
Trust me I would love nothing more then to take time off to be a nomad, but I have a dependent (My mom) and so I can never be gone too long from her (which is why I like traveling with her whenever she is able to)
Hopefully you’ll get to visit Vanuatu soon! Geography GO episode coming???
Dubuque is pronounced more like "Dub-yook" not "Da book".
I guess I will bombard you with travel literature from Pennsylvania!
The geography teacher that I actually like
I’m gonna miss this series when it’s over, but I’m looking forward for the future of Geography Now after the Zimbabwe episode
Great video.
Underground post office sounds awesome.
I agree, little confusing on how it works, but yeah… Lol
You need to go to Zimbabwe for its episode since its the last one
Hey Barbs, can u make a filler week abt Malaysian states and federal territories?
Indonesian provinces would be awesome too
@@FairyCRat Ikr. I think he’s doing that rn according to his community post.
do you plan on covering overseas territories (e.g bermuda, northern mariana islands) after the countries
Well, I did a video on the overseas territories of the UK, but if you’re referring to individual videos, that might take a while, and of course nothing that ambitious can happen until after the Zimbabwe episode
Hiya Barbs, just had an idea for a video.
Can you do a video for North Pole/Lapland and aim it for young kids?
I've heard Father Christmas/Little Saint Nick would be interested in doing the video if you asked them. (Love to see Art in a Santa suit. As would Noah or Keith.)
He is REAL despite what is said on the internet.
What do you think? You won't have enough time to do one for Christmas but maybe next Christmas after the countries have finished
Oh wow, I had no idea that an underwater post office existed, that's insane lol. But awesome
Hi! I like how Barb and Paul kids at each other.
I think it's the same way in Brazil. 😂😂😂
Wasn't the South Africa flag episode done already? 🤔

Blood of those is back guys ❤
1:07 UNDESCO?
Do you do low quality animations on purpose? 😂😂😂
I love this low quality awkward animations. 😂😂😂
Greetings from Brazil.
I love art so much. His cute! 😅🥰
Hi Barbs and team!
when in the first video u ate palak paneer with just spoon, it shook me, and i thought now that actually happened i hope he is not going to eat it with rice or something. We eat it with roti (indian flat bread)
Honestly I kind of just like it as it is, I don't even think it needs a "Carb" to assist it. It's already tasty enough lol
ok@@GeographyNow
How about Vanuatu's relations with South Ossetia?
Do you consider ever remaking the Afghanistan episode? I find it funny that older videos are 6 times shorter than you normal country videos now.
You ever plan to visit the Philippines? You have a small but dedicated fanbase here and wpuld be cool if more Filipinos get to experience geography since they're sort of isolated because of socioecomonic issues.
I wouldn’t mind visiting!
@@GeographyNow Nice! Let me know if you'll be trekking. Have some plans in mind to spread Geography awareness here.
When ya doing the Venezuela episode 🇻🇪?
i always think their flag reminds me of south afrca
I love the world 🌎
Waitttttttttttttttttttt I neeed to ask something! Ok so when bougainville is a country are you going to make a geography now episode
Nice
Hello! Nice Video
When will you be coming to India? And will it be only to South or to North also?
I am a guy from Patna, Bihar but studied and now working in Bangalore, Karnataka.
If you're in Bangalore, I am a student who just started working here would love to meet you and maybe show you around Bangalore.
I definitely want to go but I want to carefully plan out the best way to get around the country. I want to spend more time focusing on the south part, Specifically Areas like Karnataka or Tamil Nadu. Those places I feel need more spotlight as opposed to the overly visited Agra, Mumbai, Jaipur....etc.
@@GeographyNow true. South India has a lot to highlight but does not get the recognition.
An underwater post office??? How is that possible? 😂
just send water safe postcards. they also sell them there so.
were getting close to the end of the "geography now" series
The " list of UN countries" - series...
@@GeographyNow oh
Ayo dude, you should probably do for the 2024 April fools, a fictional country called "Germinia and the 8 Lands". or just "Germinian Republic"
- Main land land locked in Australia, with multiple islands spread out in the Indian Ocean, and Carribean sea.
- Main land called Germinia, and the 8 lands (Listed in groups and alphabetical order)
Indian Ocean:
Va'ueos (Pronounced Vaunten)
Kau'qi (Pronounced Koo-an-shen)
Bara Amas
Carribean sea:
Tarlaw's Island
Nay'ai (Pronounced Nay-I)
'Ma'qi (Pronounced Ma-kee)
Vana
I know it starts with a G and you are at the letter V (Going to Y) right now, but still. You can change the name if u want
*Political Geography*
The country is mostly mountainous with no capital, and has a boring history. And measuring at about 7 square kilometers with a population of only 627 people, making it way less populous than Vatican City, an observer state of the UN. The island Bara Amas is currently sinking and has only about 0.04 square kilometers left of land. The country was once colonized by the British until 1985, when it finally gained independence. And after that, not much happened.
*Physical Geography*
The country is as I mentioned before, mountainous and with one mountain being called Un'kakaawa near the town of Xanxwille (Pronounced, Shanks-Ville), and it is the ONLY MOUNTAIN to have a name, meanwhile every other mountain is pretty much called numbers based off their height. Their food is also pretty good with one of the dishes being called "Anteeporl" which is a good soup that has a common fruit, "Yava", which is pretty sweet and rich in protein.
*Demographics*
The people are mostly white, with 68% being that, meanwhile the 42% is black, and the 20% being other. atleast 86% of all people speak this language called "Germinian", which is the language for 5 of the islands' names. And meanwhile, the remaining 14% speaking other languages like Spanish or English.
*Friend Zone*
The country doesnt really care that much about other countries and lacks a relation with alot of them, but they say their best friend might be Australia due to allowing them to have access to the Pacific Ocean, and has been a huge partner in trading. (the rest of the relations goes to you)
and then at the end say this:
"This country is a pretty nice place and I have visited once in 2017, though it is sadly pretty difficult because you have to take a boat and walk 81 kilometers to the country. And it is also *fake* ." then just say the usual line at the end
Will you remake old videos that need updating
I think this is the earliest I've caught a GeographyNow video!
How do I send postcard to geography now
Vanuatu 🇻🇺 is it nice to live in?
Within 4 hours!
If Art still has Turkish connections, how about a trip to Turkey? I know you and your mom did the layover thing a few years ago. Or a trip to Azerbaijan, where Mrs. Art is from?
Well I mean.... I literally went there and filmed the Turkey episode IN Turkey, did you watch it?
@@GeographyNow ok so I was writing this while eating a pop tart this morning. Brain went to layover thing you did with your mom. Yes I did watch it. But brain no good Monday morning. Will rewatch though. I’ve watched all your episodes basically a couple times each (or more). Thanks for replying to my idiotic comment. I’m dumber in real life if you are wondering.
Why haven’t you done Republic of Kelana-Melanesia it’s a country in Melanesia Oceania.
I think Vanuatu recently lost visafree access to European Union. So the CBI is no longer worth it for some people.
Hi @Geography Now, could you please do a video explaining administrative division of Brazil?
He did that already
Sorry, I must have missed that
@@zachv
Did you know that there is a town in New Zealand that was founded by Scandinavian immigrants and another town that was colonized by the French?
Waiting for Zimbabwe.
You forgot the famous people
Where in Iowa is Noah from?
I'm one of 9227 people how watched this video so you see Barbs people do watch these videos .
How did you not mention any volcanoes in 'famous places' section
Well there were some mentioned in the episode already including the most famous one, Tanna island's Mt Yasur and the Malampa calderas on Ambrym island, but I felt it would probably make more sense to put them in the Physical geography section since they play a huge role in the physical makeup of the country
What's the deal with the underwater post office??
Dubuque is pronounced Debook?
Are you going to make the Vatican city video
Maybe after Zimbabwe
You forgot to the picking thing that you did
He doesn’t do that anymore
Hey Barbs. Any plans to visit ruins?
Which ones?
@@GeographyNow ones that are nearby during your travels or lesser known ones. For example in Guatemala there is Tikal but there is a lesser known one in Santa Cruz del Quiche.
are you going to do a vid on the vatican?
no they wont because its not UN recognized, they said venezuela would be next
@mopthefloorrr TIL not UN recognised - I guess could do non-Geography now ep on it but that's up to Barbs I guess.
@@teedoification yeah true
Coolidge got a warship named after him? Seriously? Wasn’t he embroiled in tons of corruption scandals?
No that was the president before him, Warren G Harding
@@zachv oh yeah I get them confused because they’re both 20s presidents and no one cares about them anymore. People only care about who came before and after, Wilson and Hoover
will you do vatican 🇻🇦 city?
Hey Barbs, instead of geographie and stuff. If one looks at you, let`s say from Argentina, Belgium or Germany video, and sees your progress...Man you should talk about your daily routine. You look really beefed-up. Respect!
his entire friend base that we see are all pretty beefy.
@@sirBrouwer yes! But i didn‘t want to edit my post. But you are so right.
Wait, what??! an under water post office!!? why?
Why not
Barbs, you said that Vanuatu (which I knew about 20 years ago, way before you) was a country in which "2 countries (UK and France) had controlled 1 place," and said that Abyei region is the only one you could think of (after you had Googled it). Huh, it goes to show that no matter if your channel is about geography, or how many places you've traveled to, you will always pale in comparison to me, when it comes to geography, given that not only have I traveled around the world, I have had formal education (I've taken geography courses at university) unlike you.
Btw, if you were formally educated in geography, then you would have known that Andorra is another good example. Andorra has 2 co-Princes (a Bishop from Spain and the French President are both Co-Princes of Andorra).
Btw, no offense. I love your videos! I've been a subscriber and your fan for many, many years.

None of those Pacific Island countries fought for their freedom. At least not until Bougainville becomes a country.
What a vote for independence is a fight
Best hope Elon Musk doesn’t take over some country and change their name to X.😂
DO Belgium its very long ago and outdated
I'm early to this
