As a coniseur of flags, the Namibia flag is a really good flag. It's very distinctive while also being pretty simple with clear strong colors. This is how you design a modern flag.

I gotta say, I like the chill vibe of these videos much better than the rushed, aggressive energy of the main ones. Also, this feels more to the point, while the main ones I feel like too much time is wasted with segues and segue jokes.

Keep in mind though that the hat ignites a lot of bad emotions in people in Croatia due to the Yugoslav wars in 1990-s, and since then we just can't finish that chapter of history.

The inhaling yes has spread from the northern Sweden to the south, though. I grew up on the west coast (near Gothenburg) and I've used that manner of saying yes my entire life. Mostly I use it when I agree with something someone else says. It's less invasive and interrupting than saying "yes, yes, yes" when someone speaks!
Barbs, quick note on your point at 0:47 - 1915 was prior to the enactment of the Statute of Westminster in 1931 which effectively gave South Africa sovereignty as a Commonwealth Realm. Prior to that is was a dominion under the British Empire which functioned as a semi-independent polity.

I stay by Cape Town, South Africa, and have been to Namibia a few times. (And, the USA (Seattle and Florida) and Canada (Victoria and Vancouver).) I also thought that it's South Africa's Canada. In some ways Namibia is like Canada. (All Canadians I mentioned that to, get upset and offended if I say that in some ways Canada is like Namibia. I guess it's because Canada is first world and Namibia is third world. That's not what I'm referring to. It's also due to ignorance about Namibia and Africa.) For instance both are in the shadow of their more populous southern neighbours, in the shadow of big brother, and wanting their own cultural ways. (A difference is that South Africa ruled Namibia for 75 years.) Both have low populations for their large sizes. (Namibia has the lowest population in Africa, and one of the lowest in the world.) Both are regarded as deserts, which isn't true. Canada is regarded as a desert of ice and snow. That would not be true over all of Canada, and all year. Namibia is regarded as a desert of sand. But, that's just in the south and the coast. Both have controversial seal culling programs A case of Namibia and Canada should hang out some time.
That's why I from Namibia want to migrate to Canada

Another point about Namibia, is that Walvis Bay was an exclave of South Africa, in Namibia. It was handed to Namibia in 1994. That is along with many of those sanctuary islands that were mentioned.
So, for instance from 1915 to 1990, it was part of South Africa, and surrounded by Namibia (South West Africa then) that was ruled by South Africa.

It is completely wrong when you say that the Germans left and then South Africans invaded. It was WWI at the time and South Africa, part of the Commonwealth, so allied to the Entente, invaded Namibia.The Germans just did not have enough garrison to defend against.
