Recently and finally got my sister and brother in law to watch the Game Changers movie. They are both body builders and compete in shows. Of course on of their first concerns was protein. I am happy to say that after watching the Game Changers, they are on board and have been going plant strong for several months now. My sister and I both signed up for the plant strong meal planner which has been helping them. Thank you for this podcast, I sent it off to them immediately!! 🌱💪🏼💚 Plant strong, right on!!!!
Great video! We are both in our 80's and are all about healthy aging. Getting older does have to mean getting sicker. We still strive for a strong body, a calm mind, & a positive outlook. Plant-based for years. Thanks!
I did my first bodybuilding contest when I was 45 yrs old. Everything he says about training, etc is true. Fast forward to now: my husband and I went solid vegan when he was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma 3 1/2 yrs ago (it was everywhere in his body: lungs, brain, kidneys, spleen, ribs, spine - including breaking his bones in several places). With Immunotherapy, prayers, and staying vegan (strict no sugar too) he's now almost in complete remission - has been off Immmunotherapy for over a year - and we bike 1000 ft hills, 8-15 miles daily, surf overhead waves, he does construction - we're in our 70's too. No health issues (it's fun to see doctors' expressions during check-ups - we are so not typical). I credit our health and strength to living a plant based diet. (And it's good to not contribute to some animal cruelty too).
Nimai Delgado is a true inspiration. You should have him back on the show for the latest. Hearing Nimai speak about having a job you hate and comiting soul suicide hit home for me.
Thank you, for an amazing video. I stopped eating soy products, because I was told it will harm my health. I'm a 62 year old avid runner, practice hot yoga & plan to start rowing. I'm on a plant-based diet. But, I have very low upper body strength. I mainly eat oats, fruit, spinach, broccoli, zucchini, potatoes & occasionally Japanese sweet potatoes. Once in awhile I'll have some beans, but not often. After looking at this video, it is apparent to me, I need a little more protein. So, I guess I should eat beans daily & add a little soy in my diet. Thanks for this valuable information. By the way, would Creatine help me with strength or would it cause too much water retention?
Good for you! Beans and non GMO soy are great protein sources.. nuts and seeds are an easy one too. I doubt creatine would cause much water retention if you consume
Hi rip. You ripper for changing my mind about all .i can see now how it has been hurting me for years and i thought i was healthy.but i have been fighting with a major health struggle called fredreich's ataxia. I call him fred (without the capital letter).we don't want any honour to fred. He is destroying my nervous system. I think that the build up of all the oils i was taking has really made a huge mark on my health. Am not sure how much i can recover but i am trying to build myself up and i haven't plateaud.i have been going back and forth putting vegan and meat for years since i was 15 years.and now am 48years.i am in a wheelchair but am working with my exercise physio and some other health specialists to help me out of where i am.i have also been urged to change over all my supplements and medications for CBD oil.what is your take on CBD oil because it is not legal in Australia or in Queensland where i live in Australia.they are very backwards over here.but my team of health carers and the exercise people are happy to let me try it out. I hope to show them how plants can make me strong.
CBD oil is an extracted thing so i just worry about its harmful effect on me.as am trying to heal my nervous system and my genetic problem with a protein that is not being created in my body.
Nimai Delgado, what an inspiration. Sure, the biceps are impressive.... but much more for his contagious positivity.

Yep, I'm currently following his work out plan
Two vegan powerhouses, changing the world. Love these guys.
He is a treasure to this movement. His parents must be so proud of him. He seems like the nicest person on all levels.
He takes steroids. He's a fraud
Believe not only his parents are proud

2 liters of horse piss doesn't hurt the animal, and it's actually good for the environment. Go for it!

Virtue He’s strong, and very muscular. Not steroid, overly veiny, and gross.
