Gathering 3 friends to play Contra together with you offline is the hardest part of the 4 player mode.......😢

Yeah. I agree. It's too bad we don't live in time where we can play games with other people remotely, like over the internet, maybe Wayforward could've included that.
I suppose it's selfish of any fan to expect that, it's not like Hard Corps uprising was able to achieve that over a decade ago either...
I'll do that one day but I'm gonna have to first unlock those 30 lives not having none of my friends still the little lives I have. I have already beat the game 4 times solo an will continue to do so to grind.

@@owl-questYep, both of those weapons(Crush and Homing) are the best in this game.
Playthroughs like this is basically seeing fireworks go off constantly, and I do love fireworks.
Some of the challenges should include stage favorites from past contra's👍
These companies make fun games four players but then miss the shot with no online joining and Dropout Co-op, that's trash.

4 player coop seems cool and all, But I'd rather have online 2 player coop.
Then again, for $40 in 2024, I don't see why we can't have both...

The problem with these types of games that are 4 player, is that there is so much chaos going on that I would lose track of who I am on the screen

There are already 4 of you, you still use these weapons that practically scatter bullets everywhere, making the game less fun.
I like this game alot. The lab boss was very interesting and disturbing. Turns out to be a failed version of the final boss. I just wish the aliens where a bit more Giger- ish. As opposed to alien/ human DNA slop?
I wish they made the mutants more horrifying, but at the same time, they're annoying enough as it is and they look a bit like the flood from Halo.

It is not recommended with 4 players it's so congested and the projectiles already covering the whole screen that you can't see almost everything
Thank you for this clip; now it makes sense why the game has such mixed reviews: the devs forgot to add bullets in the game. Outside bosses, which are just bullet-sponges, anything in between it's a walking simulator and target dummy practice. And the price is just .. whoa !! 40$ for something that looks like a mobile game that should be uner 10$. Cashing in hard on that nostalgia.
if you follow that logic than all Contra games are waking simulators/targer dummy practice. you clearly don’t understand the premise so you have no business commenting on the game. Go play Call of Duty, sniper!

So the game dont spawn more enemiers or make things harder with more players on...How disapoiting. I remeber the time when games makes things more interesting acording the number of players on it.

If you allow a player to grind enemies in one area for more then just 30 lives which i just discovered should one not be able to keep them and if not why allow the option to do so leaving the screen or anything for that matter just to loose them sucks is then on purpose or glitched i wonder thanks for allowing a save feature but it should not also count towards lives that you earn people you unlock i hope can be played from the start not just where you unlock them one's that are not added to story i hope they are later on though dlc and patches i hope.

Why doesn't it look super easy
Because it’s 4 players and they bout have it on easy or normal and they probably playing with perks a they are not playing with the I hit kill.
Get this game and play by yourself or no more than two or three on hard with 1 hit kill.
