@@mariarohmer2374 These basements were built as the staff utility areas of huge old houses. Would’ve housed the kitchen, laundry and servants quarters and also been the “ Tradesmen’s” entrances.
Modern but gorgeous. You can barely hear the traffic when inside and I’m sure it’s even better with the front door closed. I love the sounds o the city. Thank you.
Railings could use a lick of paint. Nice sized rooms with good light. Kitchen storage is plentiful and the fridge/freezer is excellent. The only thing I'd change would be to get rid of the horrendous wallpaper.
These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $109k now to put in the market.
It's not difficult, but you have to learn and handle. Another thing is that if you can't manage your home, maybe you shouldn't invest on your own. If so, you should hire a CFP to help you diversify your assets to include ETFs/index funds/mutual funds and stocks of companies with consistent cash flows, rather than betting on penny stocks.
I actually subscribed for a few trading courses but it didn't help much, been getting suggestions to use a proper financial advisor, how did you go about touching base with your coach?
White plastic walls topped with garish wallpaper is not my taste. Honestly thought the decor hideous. But it was fun redecorating in my imagination! I would definitely want my laundry room in the house.
Well said TC what a dreary & banal interior, wtf, tasteless in the extreme, and the usual island kitchen, faddish stupid waste of space & money. Better to have spent the money by commissioning a decent Interior designer, but that probably doesn’t exist in the Northern province, a complete lack of aesthetic sensibility. This is underlined if you are unfortunate enough to watch tv with programmes on makeovers or House of the year, etc. Are the Scottish totally devoid??!! Would definitely appear so.
Couldn’t handle the negatives: below street entry, dampness and mold risk, flooding potential at the entry, and lots of wallpaper that needs to be removed.
Who came up with ghastly wall paper in bathrooms? Only 1/2 bath where wallpaper compliments each other. It seems to modern high end residence with cheap staging furniture. And it isn’t even modern. Rather generic.
@@manichairdo9265 Fair enough, but the house was being promoted as "totally renovated", and even though individual items were, indeed, lovely, when all put together it looked pretty horrendous. But I did like the house itself.
@lovelyshirl Oh, I missed that. I must admit that for years, I have cringed at the state of the wallpaper when I look at houses for sale or videos like this. Maybe it's because my late father was a brilliant professional decorator - always booked years ahead by his wealthier customers, and my mum was very skilled in interior design. 😀
Do not like the style of this home. I would throw wooden beams throughout, crown moldings, framing, color schemes and accent walls throughout. With a vintage country theme.
I wish I could buy this place just so I can redecorate. The history and heart has been ripped out and replaced with superficial, modern, cheap looking, tasteless muck. I’m frankly disgusted.
The place is a breath of fresh air, love it!!!!
I love the use of the spaces out under the public sidewalks.
Well done!
At first I couldn't figure out why there were doors facing street side. Pretty brilliant to utilize space under the street. Takes a keen mind.

Brilliant camera man… you could actually see the property without getting dizzy .
I was pleasantly surprised at how big the rooms under the sidewalk are! Huge!

Glad you finally found the fridge! I was wondering where they hid it.

She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran a Google search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing
Love this!
It is sad that the heart gets ripped out from these period properties
by people who have no idea how to treat homes like these ~
Totally agree
Sorry lost the will to live .it took so long..why go through every room again.
I agree. The kitchen and bathrooms can be modern and redone for me. I hate old in these areas reminds me of dirty and bacteria ridden.
They’ve been “ripped out” multiple times before since they were built.
Can I redecorate in my 1820 style? Except for the kitchen, even in 1820, the cook would have loved the update.
It would be interesting to live here. And at far end of outdoor space, have a shallow gazebo. Perfect.
He fish wallpaper must go!
The office and laundry room are the icing on the cake!!!!❤
Never too many bathrooms. 😊💟

The traffic noise!!!!
I imagine it’s quite noisy with the traffic and the trams.
Lovely home x
For a basement flat in downtown Edinburgh, not bad, but it looks like they just hung out at Ikea all weekend for the interior furnishings
What a beautiful house, vandalised by Crap Decoration Ltd. Modcons CAN be in keeping/sympathetic.

It was probably ripped out way before this incarnation.
Looks like only paid parking there. Do they have neighborhood living stickers for parking?
Didn’t the white tiles and trim tiles but marble tiles with the wallpaper.
Qué maravilla!
I guess I missed it, where is the parlor with FPL? Well, one bedroom will be redecorated for that. And another for library. Too many bathrooms.
Ideal for B&B
Would I be able to whitewash the front, at my level?
Couldn’t handle the negatives: below street entry, dampness and mold risk, flooding potential at the entry, and lots of wallpaper that needs to be removed.
most of the Georgian propierties are down ground floor
How much
Is this available for booking??
Unfortunately this property is no longer available but you can view more of properties here - www.warnersllp.com/

Not everyone’s style but an easy fix.
Probably a designer. I quite like it
You could’ve cut this video in a third of the time.
Really? That’s in front of your fng house?
Scraping off all that ugly wallpaper is a HUGE job. If you have never done this before trust me
This looks where Nicholas Fairford lives?
That’s Abercromby Place.

Sorry, but a bit boring. Remove all furnishings might have better luck. But, if sold then Congrats
Who decorated this home? It's a beautiful house but the decor is a hot mess...and completely tasteless. Nothing is remotely cohesive.
But who would move into a house and not re- decorate?

Why would you want a “vintage country theme” with fake wooden beams in the centre of a city..?

Throw out the furniture, re- paint ...
