Praise God! I am 74 yrs old & grew up with these hymns & I know the words to all the songs she played. I got choked up when she played “His eye is on the sparrow”(7:25) my grandmother‘s favorite hymn.

I really like listening to those 3 ladies sing. The phone book singer is real good too! Young Justin did a fine job with there's something in that name. I hope he will continue your life in the service of Christ it would be fine if it was in music. That whole Claussen family is tremendously blessed. It's always an extra blessing to be raised in oh oh where Christ is first. This was certainly been a blessed night for me tonight and I thank all who were involved. The leader has quite a nice voice, too. The haven of rest quartet was quite nice, too. There were so many really nice voices that God blessed us with to hear tonight. I enjoyed the band a lot too.

A church that possesses a music department leader with confidence and strong convictions as shown here at TBC is extremely rare nowadays , probably one in two or three hundred . Tabernacle Baptist members should not take this for granted please ! I love what the late evangelist J.Harold Smith said several times . He said he reads in the Bible that there’s gonna be way more singing than preaching in Heaven
This is almost word for word Gerald Wolfe's Hymn Sing. Down to asking the women to sing perfect submission, Jesus saves, and the directing. I'm not asking you to come on stage. This was Gerald's script for his hymn sing.
I’m 74 yrs old, grew up with these hymns & this is slowest I’ve ever heard “Blessed Assurance” sung. Same with “I Love to tell the story” & “Does Jesus Care.” Wonderful pianist but music leader slows it down.
@@acricucci6188 Blessed Assurance is something that many people, even people of faith, lack. We slow it down to emphasize the reason we have to celebrate the assurance we believe to be so vital to a vibrant faith. It certainly can be sung with a faster tempo.
