- In every part of Australia, people are struggling with the cost of living. The government fails to address the deep unfairness and systemic issues that underpin our current economic and social system.
How is anybody meant to get ahead, let alone feel secure under the continued state of financial pressure that so many Australian homes are facing?
Instead of our government stepping in with actual solutions to the cost of living crisis, they allow corporations to price gouge, landlords to profiteer, and energy and mining moguls to influence parliament.
Last year, Australians worked an additional 86 million hours, yet 380,000 people in Western Australia went hungry. These are the warning signs of a deeply broken system.
Deeply broken and struggling to survive daily for many. It shouldn't be in this rich country.
Meanwhile Albo gave $100 MILLION to Vietnam to "go green" while homeless Australians sleep rough. We have disgusting IDIOTS form "leaders"
Every country is rich in its own way yet has been hamstrung by bank-ruled corporate gov't; e.g. Jamaica is a great place to grow tobacco, yet it is illegal to grow their cash crop, so they are destitute.

Labor wants to encourage foreign investment in housing. Hands off housing. It should be a societies aim for even the most basic, safe housing be affordable to all.
They have put in place tax discounts for Superannuation to invest in building houses for rental. Tax relief that prospective Aussies aren't able to access. Disgusting. "You will own nothing and be happy".
BAN non citizens from owning Australian Domestic Housing.

when I saw the treasurer on Q&A being asked about stopping things like negative gearing for housing he basically didn't want to answer the question so the housing situation will continue no matter how many those who want to buy to live somewhere will be out bidded by a property investor and the housing situation will continue it really is a joke
That's right. All the MP's have multiple homes, they would dare vote against negative gearing. This is just a loophole for the poor to prop up the wealthy. It must GO!
No state gov has increased their stocks of public housing since mid 90s Thats the real basis of housing crisis

The cost of living is up because the RBA monetised two billion a week every week for two years during covid, taking the debt to gdp ratio from a standard 25% to 35% to 60%. About 50% now. Its the.. wait for it.. the inflation of the money supply that is the problem. Its the only problem. Everything else is symptomatic of Kensian dynamics. Taxation is not a solution.

Privatisation has been proven to be a failure. I remember when governments said that privatisation would make more competition and make everything cheaper. except we have no competition because Australia allows companies to be monopolies. It has ruined our economy and its people and our way of life. Privatisation of infrastructure is ridiculous because companies just want profits only, yet we do not hold those that lied accountable!

@@ronmurray4191 when you say don't stack up on so many levels well firstly the mainstream newspapers won't report anything from the greens only negative stuff because they don't like the greens and people tend to believe whatever they report trying to make them the enemy and also people don't like to think for themselves because that's scary which is sad of course they want to push the debate because it's not all about people who have the most money in this country who benefit from everything while the rest of us suffer war is wrong on so many levels the government sends people over to war they come back with ptsd and it fucks up their lives on so many levels and we don't want to help them then we wonder why there are so many problems in society
