@randomwholesomeguy the LEDs take power so it will effect it, on top of that the PS5 controller battery isn't good. I should know, I have one.

@@PhoneRepairGuru strap an extra battery bank underneath, or dremel a slide-off cover for removable batteries like old phones had.
@@SrApathy33this is why I love Xbox controllers, you have a internal battery and external one, and yes the internal one is a rechargable! Makes doing LED mods and stuff easy since you'll have so much battery life.

@@drew2626 yeah, Xbox controllers use a internal battery bank and external batteries. the battery bank just extends the battery life of the controller, it's not used as a actual battery but still.

Used to do something similar on my ps4,except I had a remote colour change on my LEDs lights,so I'd need a remote to change the colour of my remote😂😂😂,but also had the same LEDs connected to my bedroom wall so when I change the colour of my remote my whole room changed colour with it,that was fire

Extreme rate sells lots of mods.
I installed a rear paddle mod that lets you map buttons on the rear to each paddle (4 of them)
And for those wondering no its not macros and or cheating because it just maps single inputs.

I wish that there was an option to mimic the actually controller touch at lights
I did this on a clear dualsense controller and it looks even crazier, Extremerate also sells the clear shell for it, and I added a 3000 mah battery to even out the power the rgb takes up
I need to because the led wont turn on now so if it keeps up ima just remove it after the battery upgrade

I have never seen a ps5 controller but from all the videos I have seen it seems to be the most customizable controller I know of.

I remember doing this with a brand new ps4 controller it went from 10ish hours to 3 and charging it was a nightmare on a dock. Long story short I just left the cable hooked in

You should test how much battery life you have to sacrafice for this mod
Extreme rate offers some good products but a lot of their trigger mods break after only a few months of competitive play
For this LED mod I would worry about the battery life and the longevity of the internal battery

I think you should have upgraded the battery while you were in there. The customer obviously would have okayed that up charge if he’s already paying to install something unnecessary like internal LEDs….

Its easy ive been customizing my controllers for a fue years now and its scary at first cus it sounds like they are breaking when you take them apart but trust me youll know when you brake it, but ita fun to do when you get the hang of it
