@@quinnsccj8453 you can use the controller for pc, I only have a PC and use a PS5 controller with it, there is also a program called DualSenseX so you can even use the adaptive triggers even if a game doesn't natively support them

I actually saw this as a missed opportunity for Sony. I would have thought lighting would have been included, especially in the base controller or the dual sense edge, with the main buttons for x o ^ and [] buttons being rgb in the PlayStation colors. Would been cool.

Front bezel? Maybe. But for the backplate you'll need the OLED motherboard since the TF Card Slot is different. Also the OLED is ever so slightly wider.

If you want to extend the battery life a little longer use red , this is due to red leds have a lower current draw than any other colour / colour combination.
Not only you're using metal tweezers near a still plugged in electrical circuit but you're pulling the cables in the worst possible way. For anyone interested in doing this please get a pair of ceramic tweezers or use your fingers, and pull the ribbon cables from the base!

U can buy a new controller, attempt the mod on the new one, and if the mod works then return ur old controller in its place. Relatively risk free, especially if u buy from Costco or amazon, where they are really lenient with returns and replacements

@@brandonrisso the thing is we don’t buy batteries for Xbox controllers as they come with them and just charge them no different then then a PlayStation controller on top of them lasting a few hours more on the charge. Just correcting false information here. I do play both but damn does my ps5 controller die faster then my x.

The good thing is that the buttons are made of glass which makes it easier and cheaper to make it RGB so you also don’t have to buy glass buttons.
