Well we thought we'd try our hands at a little French! Joined by Justine Galmiche from SKÁLD, we combined our version of 'Santiana' from our album 'Between wind and water' with the French version of the song. Then we realized the lyrics have nothing to do with each other.
So we found alternative verses of both from other shanties that could fit together. Just like the olden days! Hope you like it and the track is available NOW on Spotify.

I'm brazilian, so I speak portuguese as my first language, km not actually fluent in english but I have a decent level if a had to say, and recently I tried to learn french, since it came from latin just like portuguese, and it's pretty similar actually, this video was quite a good surprise

One of my all-time favorites The Longest Johns sing. The addition of Justine Galmiche's part really adds something special, I think, but I've always liked that sort of female voice quality in traditional/folk music.
Justine's repeated "Hissez-haut" vocals in the back are the best part of the whole song 🔥
