Top 8 Finals Part 2: ua-cam.com/video/b3OqI36vats/v-deo.html 1:12 ReptilianSea (Labrys) vs BananaKen (S. Labrys) 6:39 SQ (Chie) vs LV (Adachi) 17:27 Bace (Yu) v Klawsome (Rise) 26:08 Rockdan (Teddie) vs Grant (Kanji) 33:41 Losers Quarter-Final (1) 43:08 Losers Quarter-Final (2)
Wait how are there still tournaments going for this game? Everytime I go on the game there's like 5~ people on, I would love for this game to get revived
See if they ported it to PS4 it would be a good milking that I'd actually buy into, but like the previous comment above, we might have to wait for good sales on BBCTB for P5A.
@@SeanTheShinigami p5a is essentially all but confirmed at this point. Bbtag sold super well. In fact it's rumored they are making it in the style of xrd (Obviously not confirmed atm). The game is essentially on the back burner as they work on granblue
Shave Ice well considering that Atlus has yet to unveil what the title P5U is and P4U ended up being Persona 4 arena, I’d be shocked if that wasn’t the case.
That feel when the main antagonist who's hidden for the sake of the mystery through an 80 hour game is revealed to have a persona and is a playable character in this game. :/
The commentator who doesn't know a ton on the game but still supports it is soo cool ~ glad he was in most the video. But the other silent commentator who comes in when the matches are done, craps on the players and the previous commentary in a passive uninterested tone almost ruined the video for me. I enjoyed the upload ~ at the end of the day so thks
Too bad the battle system is so damn complex. I cant play/not good at these fighting games (ex: guilty gear, blazblue) Keep it simple lol Street Fighter lol.
Blazblue is the most technically complex fighter out currently. While street fighter is complex in it's own right, it's the least of all competitive fighters currently out.
Danny Gantz The main issue is that this game is a Japanese game so like how one wouldn't play, say, GTA in Japanse because it would be weird, it's equally weird here to play this Japanese game in any other non-Japanese language.
But the english voice cast is amazing. I will always prefer my fighting games in english because you can actually understand what they're yelling throughout the match.
This has the wrong presumption that one can't know Japanese. Allow me to correct it; I do know Japanese. Also, you can see me speak English here, right? Well, that is also not my native language. People can learn foreign languages to fluent degrees and can enjoy media in those tongues as intended. Don't assume that people can't understand what is being said just because it's in Japanese, that's America-centric.
I think you presume that I said people can't learn other languages....somehow? I said nothing of the sort. I just find I enjoy them more when I can understand what they're saying throughout the match. Sure, you can learn other languages, but you said so yourself, you prefer them in your native language, which I am left to assume is japanese (it's obviously not english). So you pretty much said the exact same thing as I did. I didn't say anything like, "Oh I hate the Japanese language, why do they even bother." Or anything like that, I just expressed how I felt and explained why. You don't have to agree with me, there are plenty of things I prefer in Japanese, fighting games/games in general aren't one of them, even though I do play plenty of JRPGs that don't have English voice acting.
Just watching this after the trailer release for PS4/Switch/PC. I love this game!!
GOD this game looks so good at a high level. I wish I had kept up with it.
Hah, you're making me miss it a lot after reading this~
Radori Do it
boy do i have news for you
Now we have a second chance
Do it. Do it now.

This game is beautiful to watch
The name ,the picture...
Its beautiful
So...is your name referring to your profil picture or is it unrelated?
The graphics are really nice. I always preferred the anime type of graphics compared to 3D. Is this game made by Ark/Arc as well?
Joshua Amador Yup.
Sorry for being four years late but yes, this game was made by ArcSys alongside ATLUS

Came back here since it’s being rereleased!! More tournaments! Woo!! 👏
Wait how are there still tournaments going for this game? Everytime I go on the game there's like 5~ people on, I would love for this game to get revived
I_Am_Gant A ps4 port would help, or p5 arena
If they bring 2.0 to america it could revive the game, but until then we'll have to hope blazblue crosstag sells well for a P5 Arena.
See if they ported it to PS4 it would be a good milking that I'd actually buy into, but like the previous comment above, we might have to wait for good sales on BBCTB for P5A.

I'm late for almost 3 years but holy shit that Yuu vs Adachi tho *chef kiss *
This game and Jojo Heritage For The Future are awesome at high level because watching Stands/Personas being used in such creative ways is awesome.
Agreed.
That feel when the main antagonist who's hidden for the sake of the mystery through an 80 hour game is revealed to have a persona and is a playable character in this game. :/
Feels bad for ya..the game take place after persona 4 so they assume you already know it
This is a sequel to Persona 4 Golden! You shouldn't have looked! XD
33:30 love this fight
That yu vs adachi game... damn that was awesome
Ah. Good to see some actual variety in this tournament as opposed to Evo where it was Sho Minazuki galore.
lmao people still playing persona? thought i was alone
ousmm1 It's just a lot of fun man.
"No more crusing alone"
Adachi runs like he's walking down a hallway about to look around a corner lol
Adachi vs Yu though, daaamn-
I miss this game so much...
Holy shit someone got to top 8 with normal Labrys?
Props to Grant for still rocking Kanji. He's pretty much the only high-level Kanji left and my only reason to watch Persona tourneys.
There’s no stopping Kanji once he comes in.
wait, the persona arena games are still alive?
no lol
Equality check the date pls
They are nowhere near alive. The online died so fast and it's so depressing...
Lightweight

I enjoyed the upload ~ at the end of the day so thks
Wish they'd hold one of these in Arkansas so I can join in.
i like the characters variety, i might pick this game up if this many characters are top 8 worthy
PERSONA?!
BLESS THE CHARACTER SELECT SCREEN THEM BEING ELETRONICA IN THE VELVET ROOM, I LOVE THIS #-#
ChieLover knows who's the best P4 waifu.
Adachi combos look so badass
This is some bizarrely low skill play save for a couple moments and the Kanji. Is everyone just jumping in without practice?
I'm seeing new faces. Most of these guys probably lack MU knowledge, and just aren't at the level of the top players.
a huge problem with this game are the backgrounds. The characters get lost in them easily.
I copied this again after it was on sale for 6 dollars and I'm happy lol it's like the same 5 people online though
The Chie didn't deserve a win against Adachi, Chie can just combo your ass infinitely forever, Adachi can't do that and look how well he did anyway.
Moonman Both of them do absurds amount of damage with the right conditions set. Chie is just less persona reliant while Adachi really needs his.
Please god give rollback
why is one of the announcers called "trash lover"
why does this dude keep saying eh it happens
wow
The guy on the left has an annoying voice.
The way his mouth moves while talking is also weird.
Too bad the battle system is so damn complex. I cant play/not good at these fighting games (ex: guilty gear, blazblue) Keep it simple lol Street Fighter lol.
Street Fighter is anything but "simple", unless you're talking specifically about street fighter 5.
ChillTerumi 2-4 are indeed simple. lol. that includes Alpha.
Blazblue is the most technically complex fighter out currently. While street fighter is complex in it's own right, it's the least of all competitive fighters currently out.
You want simple Injustice 2 very user friendly
@@rainofkhandaq6678 4? Simple? With 1 frame links and FADC combos?
3? Simple? With character weights, varying juggle combos, and Chun-li existing?
I thought SQ was female? 🤔
Welp, can't enjoy this with the english voices.
Danny Gantz

To each his own but I personally can't stand Japanese Yukiko and Teddie; super annoying.
