20+ years going to jams for me, I play guitar and sing. I'd like to add: 1) When singing, keep things moving, indicate very clearly who solos (cry out "Let's hear some harp!", if there's a harp player up with you, for instance), give cues clearly, don't let the song drag on forever. 2) Mix up grooves, keys and tempos. Doing 3 or 4 slow/medium lumptys in E is a little much for the audience IMHO lol. 3) Bring a rig you can get on and off a stage in a couple of minutes; guitarists, think SMALL amps: Vox VX50 GTV, Orange Crush 35RT, Quilter, etc., Fender Blues Jr. if you want tubes, and, especially for blues, ONE pedal, running on battery power, like Mitch said, something to boost the small amp to stage volume and fatten up your tone. Oh yeah, one more thing: for amps bring a LONG cord (extension cord, etc) so that you'll have no problem plugging the amp in somewhere. Sorry for the long post.
Great video with all of the info but I could listen to you guys just jamming the whole time. Do a 2nd part with a slow blues in G perhaps. Thanks for sharing!🎶🎸

Been a big fan of Corey, and his playing for years. Learned a ton from his courses.
Hey thanks!
Great teacher, great player Corey
I don't really care for the Blues or Jazz, but I love watching People play it in a live setting!!! Great Jamming guys!!!
When in doubt , lay it out!! ❤ old school lesson .
Best video of the day! Thank you friends for the wise suggestions!

Great advice gentlemen. I'm still a rookie at blues jammin' but all your suggestions ring true.
That Behringer pedal is what I always take to jams, I figure it sounds ok and if I forget to grab it when I'm done, I'm only out $35...
Good info you guys. would have liked to have your discussion on the amps and guitars.
Sweet tones.
