    I have two and love them. A lot of folks think the little survival add-ons are gimmicks but I disagree completely. Having an emergency whistle and Ferro rod as well as a way to touch up your blade are smart ideas. I have my complaints about Leatherman but I applaud them for innovating more for outdoor woodcraft uses.

    There is a curious engraving on the side of the tool with coordinates 45 North, 122 West. Leatherman's headquarters does fall in that longitude and latitude, but it's not exact. The confluence point is actually about 47 miles to the Southeast.
