I would still say I'm retired, but like I said when I retired, that I'm hopeful that FFXIV will invite me back in, and I'm looking forward to Dawntrail, but I plan on playing the game going forward the way that Yoshi-P recommends.
@@GingerPrimeGaming that makes me super happy!!!! I really hope with the job changes you are able to make some controller guides. I honestly relied on them and made a few changes here and there to my own. I’m not much of content creator, but I reference your guides when I’m streaming and people ask how I set them up.
Great to see your controller guides back been useing your guides from your pso2 days forward smae for ff14 and new world keep up the good work looking forward to your guides for Dawn Trail on the controller good look with your goals Brian
Great video, super super helpful for this Xbox Sprout and I'm sure many others! Shame you retired, just noticed we are in the same home world. Anyway thanks again for the information, going to comb through your other videos now in search of WHM and PLD tips/tricks.
I've always been a controller player in FFXIV, and I've always preferred limiting set selection to the first two hotbars. A quick press of R1 allows for quick switching and precise movements within the GCD. I also restrict my expanded hold menu to basic shared actions like Teleport, Return, Mount, Sprint, etc. I would also like to mention that you should be considering what actions you'll need to press while moving. Any action mapped to the D-pad will force you to let go of the control stick to press.
You did it! Thank you so much for doing this video! Really appreciate it! Looking forward to more controller guides in the future!! Your videos are godsent. :)
A little of topic but I would love to see a ff14 and ff7 cross over where you can get clouds buster sword as a glam and it shows the matria you have socketed to it
Was leg sweep left out on purpose (not that useful maybe?) or was that unintentional? Thank you for making these guides by the way youve made playong on controller so much nicer for me!
That might have been unintentional, I usually keep leg sweep in the same spot every time, you'll see it in my SAM guide which I just released, so if it's missing here, I'm so sorry.
New player and new monk player. Was wondering why thunder clap wasnt included in the hot bar? Thank you again gor the guide was just curious on placement
Really? It seems really unresponsive to me. I wish it was more sensitive. You have to move the stick so far to get it to register. I'm used to the deadzone being much lower
Omg you’re making controller guides again? This makes me super happy. I thought you were quitting FFXIV. I’m so overjoyed right now

True North is also missing.
Yay controller guides !!
I need a mnk hotbar set up for new mnk it's so confusing

It should be there, its the rush to the target move correct? Its on hotbar 2
You have an Xbox Elite controller? Can we use the paddles on the back in FFXIV?
Yes
I keep getting a message stating that Arm's Length and Perfect Balance are not valid action names for the macro?
Just throwing my 2 cents in but I’d be super down for a warrior controller guide
It's already on the channel :)

Playing on xbox the controller stick is sooooo sensitive, even when I turn it down, compared to PS5 its terrible :(
Yeh, i noticed that too. Wish we could custom-setup the deadzones of the controler's sticks. :/
