OMGoodness, I love watching the bisons run toward me. They are so majestic!!!!! And a lot more agile than I thought. Can you imagine hearing an entire herd running? What a treat for this city girl. 😳😳😳
Hey Dusty, thanks for bringing us along to the auction first I loved the music and the opening. This gives us a chance to see how auctions work very interesting set up and I know safety is at the top of the list. I'm glad your boys found a home and in time would do you proud. So whats next for CTB keep up the good work and see you in the next video🤔🐂👍😉
nice work! chaska & teddy really grewUp well. i wish them much gr8~ness on their new piLgriMage! you've really come along way working bison too! itHinK your trip to texas was helpful. that hydraulic shoot system they have is magnificent!
Dusty, Congratulations on your first sale ! I'm sure that it's a bittersweet victory having your first two babies sell. Thank you for sharing and allowing us to follow your journey. You are one brave man , I think that there's not many men who can confidently run around with nothing between them and those huge Bison. I understand that you do it at home, but you understand the temperament of your animals. I think that you are a Daredevil at heart ! Lol Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Congrats on getting the young bulls sold Dusty, it's a bitter sweet moment for ya. Thank you for taking us along, really enjoyed the video. God bless..
Looks like things went smooth and so happy for you to have sold your Bison. Dusty you doing a great job at making a name for yourself in the Bison community. Awesome video. Hugs to Brooks.
Definitely a bitter sweet day in your journey day as the proud owner of your first sale. Although it's sad to see them leave, it's rewarding to know this is just the beginning of a new part in their lives. You've definitely given them a great beginning to be proud of!
Wow . A sale is quite a process. It has to be well organized to keep everything straight. Well done. Your videos are so awesome. Thank you. You are keeping Americana alive with these majestic creatures.
My mother worked at a cattle auction in South Texas for 25 years (60's & 70's) - brings back memories. I worked some in the "box" with the auctioneer some.
This video was very nicely done. I always notice the time and effort taken to craft a video with an idea of a story, an event and with a little bit of good editing and direction and techniques to present a good thing to watch. I assume Dusty worked on this. Also, congratulations on getting a good price for the young guys. They are going to have a happy life. I’m glad they went together.
Awesome job!!! You have successfully written another chapter to the story of Cross Timbers Bison!!! Your first sale!!!! Best wishes from Kentucky and stay safe!!!!!
Dusty thanks for sharing your bison bulls with us. It was sad to see them leave for someplace else. I k ow its part of raising animals. They were nice looking bulls. My grandpa, and my great aunt use to take us to the sale barn auctions. I loved going. Miss those days
@@iliv2bhap Shalom. I'm not an expert but I think America is a big country so we can do both. We now have large herds of truly wild animals and we can also do selective breeding to get high quality meat in domesticated herds.
Took me back in time to the days when I was in 4H, and later a leader, photographer and barn superintendent. I saw that tear after the auction arena, I remember well those days. Lol a wilder and woolier auction-- I loved seeing it.
Bitter sweet selling bison that you have raised but it is all part of your plan. Great to see the bison sell again. Like someone else said it was a well oiled machine.
I remember the old Union Stockyards in Chicago back in the late 60s early 70s when there were still processors there they all closed back in the late 70s early 80s and the yards moved to Joliet, now they are gone as well there is just one processor left in Chicago and it only handles lambs we still see stock trucks passing through Chicago headed for Milwaukee though.
Ok I'm only in the beginning and omg such BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT & EVERY SUNDAY I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR VIDEOS. THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Those critters are sooo powerful... one of them tore up my neighbor's barn! It just couldn't hold him! Scared him half to death! I wouldn't want to tangle with them!
Awesome watching them being moved. Maybe again in the hear future you will have more to sell. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing eh:)) HAPPY THANKSGIVING! ** nice to see babies, that Mom almost stepped on geeze **
That was fun to see. I hope you got a good price for your two. I guess you didn’t buy any more. Blessings, Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇺🇸👍❤️🥰🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
How do you feel about the auction process? Do you have any thought or ideas to streamline the process and limit the amount of stress experienced by the bison? I know you mentioned something regarding the number of bison held in the holding pens before auction.
Very Interesting Video. Did you buy anymore Bison? I know you already bought Big Joe and Ladies just wondered if bought him some more Ladies. God Bless and Peace Be With You All
Awesome sale. In the cow world dad would take calves to the sale barn and sell about 20-30 calves and at the same sell he would buy more cows to help biuld up his herd. I dont know if this will help you out I just threw it out their.
Now you did it!!! Now I have to plan a vacation to come to next years sale. One question, does anyone know, is the prancing that Bison do a learned behavior that only certain herds do? Or is it instinct with all Bison ?
That was the first time your guys were trailered wasnt it? For sure they werent happy! Big day for them as well as you guys too. Glad everything went well!

Brought great memories of going with my Dad to the stockyards when I was a little girl. Great memories. I lost my Dad in 1976. I was 19. So sad.

Have been watching since beginning of vlog! AFH connection! Easy to see how much this experience meant to you! Love seeing the Bison come back!

Looks like fun. I did it with cattle, but they don't move so fast or look so much like a bulldozer coming on. Auctions are always lots of fun.
Awesome job!!! You have successfully written another chapter to the story of Cross Timbers Bison!!! Your first sale!!!! Best wishes from Kentucky and stay safe!!!!!
Such beautiful animals! Love seeing this side of raising the bison! Thank you for sharing your ❤

Loved going to the sale barn with my Dad and Grandfather.
Thanks Dusty, this was awesome and fun to watch!! Much love and blessings for your family!!❤
I'm amazed how quick and agile they are.
Isn't that right?! It's like they aren't fully domesticated and still have plenty of wild animal jazz left in them.
@@PeterPanMan i was thinking and pondering that.. domesticating a breed might have its pitfalls... what do u think

For Dusty, this is not a hobby. It's a business that must eventually be profitable.
as big as they are it's amazing how fast they can be

It’s natural
