Tks for this video. I am in Newfoundland, Canada. I have a 9x9 ft greenhouse that I built myself. I just received my Inkbird ITC-308 (without wi-fi) from Amazon. I was having trouble understanding how to set it up. This video was very helpful, to say the least.

My biggest problem is right now with this green house is here in Colorado my greenhouse is very hot and the fan isn't helping cool it down.

Sure do appreciate this video. Thank you. I, too, have a pop up greenhouse and just bought this same Inkbird several days ago. I would love to know what you keep all these numbers set up as. I don’t comprehend what all the settings are for. I’m in an 8a/b zone and do not bring my plants in at night. Thanks!

Hi Tichy, thanks for watching! If you watch the video at 12:26 I show a screen shot of the settings that I use. My Set Point is 75 degrees and my Heating Diff is set to 25 (The heat will kick on at 50 degrees). My Cooling Diff is set to 15 (The fan will kick on at 90 degrees). Remember, unplug your cooling and heat source and allow the unit to run through both the high and low ranges in order for it to work properly. If you do not do this, then the unit will turn on the heating and cooling as soon as the temperature is 1 degree off of your Set Point.

That fan is enough to cool your greenhouse? Can you give me some info on the fan?

It is just an ordinary plastic 12 inch oscillating fan without the base attached and Yes, it does a great job of keeping the temperature from getting too high. I have it blowing the hot air out of one of the side windows of the greenhouse which causes cooler outdoor air to be sucked in from the ground level around the bottom of the greenhouse. It works great with the temperature plugs to turn on and off automatically when needed. Hope this helps you!

My parents say its a fire hazard, is it? I want to heat it so bad after they finally said I could get it so I did then they were like "nooo official greenhouses don't have a heat source"

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve heard those heat lamps like that are fire hazards. I want to try this but may need to research a different heat source.

I was gifted one of the clear greenhouses that does not have the side windows.....sooooo, what do I do for the cooling??? I tried a fan and all it did was blue the warm air around.
I was using heat mats for night - I'm zone 8b.... so I have steam all of my seedlings and starter plants. 😒🙄😬 costly mistakes. I have started rolling up the door when I'm at work until before bed. But by morning when I open I still have a steam room. HELP!!

Yes, mine will do the same thing. This is because of all the moisture from when I water my Seedlings and I have not had that cause any issues since they dry off during the day. I believe that is all u can do is roll up the door. Good luck!

@@marshprepper1798 thank 3. I just replanted all my seeds..... all of they brassicas I covered the seed trays (2)with the domes and placed them on top the soil in one of my empty beds since they really could be direct sown .... so, we'll see. Thanks again! I think next year I'll get the cover with the windows if this doesn't work.
