I got a small one of the green house just like yours just not walking in yes i zip tie my shelf too worked well other than that i love it but like yours also give more room. One other thing i not to crazy about it really light so if it a bit windy not sure how well that will hold up mine came with some stakes to out in the ground. I love how u don't need tools and one person can easily set this up. Have fun with your green house aloha
Just checking out your new video don't forget to add small cinder blocks at the bottom to keep it leveled in case the wind kick up or something what a rain...
How cool!!! LOVED that you did this all by yourself! So gangster!!! Been wanting one of these.. Pretty good size! This is awesome ! Thank you for the inspiration!
Nice..I have one like that it has a few more shelves and you should tie them or put a tray or saucer under pots it is indeed sturdier like that. I put mine in the basement to overwinter some plants, I put one of those small clip on fans on top pole to circulate air ....mine didn't have windows on the sides🙁 ! I also use one of those temperature/humidity monitors inside there too! So far so good! YES to showing and testing out products videos! And did I hear you say your selling ric rac cactus OMG I need one of those in my life lol....looking forward to getting one when you sell! Thanks for another super vid!👍🏽P.S. I forgot to mention I also have lights in there too!
I just bought the identical one from a store in the UK today. It is so windy outside at the moment that I will give it a day or two before I put it up. I will definitely be putting some zip ties on the shelves if they are as lose as yours, which I suspect they will, great idea, thanks.
This looks similar to the one I ordered today, should be here in a few days. So I’m trying to find all the information I can so I’m ready to get it set up, thanks for sharing your experience.
Do the shelves sit the other way? It looks like they might be meant to “catch” the bars from the inside and not by sitting on top and sliding around.... please let us know if that turns out to be the case!🌸
@@ilovejewelyn I just ordered one from Amazon at a steeper price during the Pandemic Lockdown. While waiting for it to come, I've been researching and watching multiple videos on the greenhouse and the shelves. Someone made the same suggestion, and I do like the idea of it being a makeshift basket shelf rather than topside and possibly getting planters knocked off. I am planning to use velcro strips to hold the shelves in place, upsidedown. Wish me luck, and I'll keep you updated on how it works or not, lol.
anyone reading this i have a tip for making this thing at least twice a sturdy -- duct tape ALL of the joints and connections ... i mean every single joint, even at all of the angles. You can get green Duck Tape brand duct tape and it matches pretty well. While this thing won't really hold up for more than a couple of seasons outside, unless you live somewhere it never snows or gets windy, you have a better chance using the duct tape. You can also buy replacement covers from a company called OGrow - they have this greenhouse as well and they're exactly the same. You can get a green cover, clear like this, or a lilac cover if you need a little shade. Edit: and you also need to stake it down if you're using it outside
Duct tape? Drill holes and use blind rivets, Riveters and rivets are dirt cheap and won't degrade like duct will. Duct tape sucks and is for "handymen" who claim with a little duct and a little WD that they could even fix the economy haha. I got a 4x4 indoor grow tent recently that has all click spring detents in every fitting and it will spoil you that's for sure haha. I never trust anything like that that's not got a mechanical connection of some sort. They also make these shade cloths that have the % of UV it lets through that is great for hardening plants off as well. During the off season get one of those packing rolls of saran wrap for pallets and wrap it in a few extra layers if you cannot dismantle it or don't want to bother.
@@thresh0014 I never used the greenhouse outside. Green duct tape works fine for me. I still have my little greenhouse set up in my office, my orchids are thriving, and I've been growing and eating fresh microgreens for about a year now. I probably should have said I never used this outside!!! But I do know w/ duct tape you can get your poles to last at least 3 years outside and it will be sturdier and hold up a bit better. But to use it as long as I have ... definitely, inside.
Nice Video, But the product is terrible, UV breaks down the covering on metal and plastic cover, the support's rust because they are badly cover in plastic, I would not recommend this product to any one, you will soon see these in pound land, or a dollar store,....

Turn the shelves upside down and zip tie, creates a lip so plants don't slide off shelf during winds.

Good job! I read where it’s good to zip tie the shelves and duct tape the connectors for a more sturdy build.
Thinking about getting one of these for my weed plants. 👍
same lmao

Thank you for the review just ordered one
Nice little greenhouse-you did a good job putting it together yourself! Would love to see an update on it!

Yes if you are in the mainland US I can ship it to you. Please message me on DM on instagram @plantingwithjewelyn
I have something similar here in the UK. You can bend the edges of the shelves around the poles to stop them from moving. Great video 😃
Nice to see a different perspective of your plants and your home. Love the greenhouse
I am in the middle of redoing the styling plants in the front of my home this month.

the shelves replace with closet storage shelving you cna find at home improvement big box stores.
How nice and a good size. You did a good job. Yes definitely zip ties for the shelves. 👍

Not good. I have to throw mines away.
You made a awesome video for 2019 keep up the good work
I want one so bad😁
What size is your greenhouse?
Oh, you clever girl! I could not do that in a month of Sunday's, lucky for me I have lil Sis who can 😀
Thanks from a beginner in Georgia
Thanks for the review. It looks pretty cool and useful. I wish I had room for one 😔😊👍.
Nice greenhouse, thanks for sharing.
Lol I notice you say "go ahead" a lot haha adorable :D
I have a mini greenhouse thats a clear plastic like urs. Mine started to tear after a week. Is your one tearing as well?
Mines broke and damaged most of my plants. Watch my vlog channel to see the drama.
I would not put more than one or two plants hanging from that Center Bar up top, they will be way too heavy.

The manual made me place the wire racks the way I had it. Also I did try the other way, doesn't work.

What about the over all products is it unstable if windy like is it easy for it to fall over??
Oh great now I want one. 🤦🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🌱
So now since you've had it for awhile what are your thoughts you can share with us? Thanks.
It’s still being used. But I don’t like the shelving falling apart.

I'm using it for propagation and rescues!
