You have such great vids. You have a great camera presence plus a great voice - easy speaking, clear and very informative. Thank you so much! Keep it up!
If you liked it there you may also like Playa Palmilla and it’s closer to you as well. Fairly calm water and likely not as busy or loud. Sundays are always busy there because families head out to the beach after church.
@@laura-bronner Playa Palmilla is fantastic....you can have a great 30-40 minute uninterrupted walk along the beach with your feet in the sand and the waves on your toes, Its safe and family friendly with several palapas to use
I think for access, swimming, walking and a great family beach with showers and change facilities is by far Palmilla beach. Its busy on Sundays but otherwise ita great beach especially for kids
I took a trip to CSL many years ago to go scuba diving. At that time San Jose Del Cabo was just beginning to be built up. I dived Chileno Bay several times. The beach was beautiful and it was beautiful underwater too. It looks like this area has been spared from development. It's the beach where the locals take their families. I think I was the only gringo there.
I have never been down there . What is water temperature like in winter and in summer ?? Is the water warm ?? How does this beach compare to Medano beach ??
Been there mid week and there was only 1 other group so pretty much had the beach to ourselves. It was was a few years ago and some it the amenities were not there. really good for snorkeling along the west side by the rocks.
oo good to know! You can sometimes see the mobula rays jumping out of the water at this time of year, but I hadn't thought about what I might do if one was hanging around nearby!
Good question - I thought it was for the boats so they didn't come to close. But perhaps they're nets to keep the less friendly animals out. It doesn't run the entire length of the beach though, which makes me think that it's probably not a net?
Chileno is a great place to hang out. We own a condo just down the road from there so this is our go-to beach for some snorkeling. Having the shower to clean up before getting back in the car is nice too. Did you catch the sign at the entrance...no bears or rhinos allowed! LOL
The bathrooms and showers are a great addition, it's definitely one of the best serviced beaches I've been to in my travels around Mexico! I didn't see that sign haha but I'm sure we'll be back there, so I'll look for it when we go again!
If you’re looking for short term furnished rentals, it tends to be a bit easier after the busy season is over so after Easter or around mid-late April until it starts getting busy again in October. If you’re looking to rent a long term unfurnished place then there are always good options available as far as I’ve experienced 👍
Usually the best time would be when a lot of the US/Canadian "snowbirds" head back when it starts getting hot. Around April or May. COVID may have changed this. Be aware of holiday times like Semana Santa where everyone is on vacation.
Really enjoyed this video, everyone has been telling me that no beach is swimmable that the waves a horrible, hmmm this video shows otherwise, btw I’m not planning to swim nowhere deep.
Pretty nice beach. Sheraton hacienda de mar hotel had a terrible wild roaring beach. We couldnt swim. Chileno beach huh, I never heard of it before. Check your whats.it Is full of stuff. Hahaha.

Thanks for the tip! We saw Palmilla on our way past it on the bus and I marked it as another place to head, looks beautiful!

Beach looks gorgeous
It was lovely!
Thank you for these great videos - we are considering retiring at least part time to San Jose del Cabo, so its great to learn more about the area.
Hi, really liked your video! Is a sand soft on that beach? Also is a water warm there? We have never been to Mexico …
Subscribed, signed up, followed. Love your content and your energy. Thank you!
Sunday is family day in Mexico....so yeah... busy with locals.
Great way to enjoy and learn the Mexican culture! Busy yes but great to see the interactions, they are wonderful people!

Great recommendation! Marked on my map app. Thank you!

How donI get there from Carnival cruise port?
Have not been there. Thank you for posting!
Calm beaches with little waves attract stinger rays. So, remember to do the shuffle.

The locals fish for the rays there and thro them on the beach
Visually stunning as always. This vlog really makes me miss Mexico 🇲🇽😢. Glad you could enjoy the water!!
Thank you for the tour of Chileno beach. ❤️ will keep it in mind next time we visit there. Glad you went for a swim. :)
Thanks for the information.
Also up the cape love spending a day at Buzzards. Check it out.
Tony the owner at Zippers is so Awesome. Usually live music on the weekends. The staff is so cool. Watching the surfers. Yeah cool place.
Excellent video, much appreciated.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Interesting clip thanks
Glad you found it interesting!
Great video Laura! 🐟👀🤷🏽♂️ you look amazing ☺️
Santa Maria is more beautiful. I was at Chileno on Monday... best get there before 1pm, it really fills up!
Santa Maria beach is amazing...can be a little crowded though 🥰
Thanks, that's on our list to check out next! Do you prefer it to Chileno?
@@laura-bronner It has better snorkeling...Chileno is a better swim beach. Love your videos by the way 🥰
Beautiful beaches!
Is that a shark net running along the beach?

@@laura-bronner ah, it may indeed be for the boats.
That looked like the perfect beach to swim laps!
Thanks so much for your vids.
I went during the week...very quiet....you just picked the wrong day.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Playa Azul? Went surfing there years ago!
Cañon de la Zorra (Fox Canyon), is a beautiful natural reserve at the foot of the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range.
Loved it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I can't wait to be there❣️❣️❣️ how's the security in Los Cabos in general?
Te puedo recomendar algunos lugares, vivo en sjc😉
I stayed in Cabo last month and Chileno is quiet during the week
Are you allowed to swim in the beaches that have strong waves

i REALLY ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS!!! When is the best time of year to come to Mexico to find an apartment for a single lady?

Silly question but is the beach water always cold?
Not a silly question! It does get a bit warmer I’ve been told by locals but usually not until may or June 👍
@@laura-bronner love your channel 💕
The water is so cold there.

Yes! Sorry I haven't had a chance to reply, there was so much great information! Thanks for sending that through!
I prefer Santa Maria beach. It tends to be quieter than Chileno. Ssshhhh ;)
Thanks! Santa Maria is one our list for our next beach day. But I'll also check out Buzzards!
The more people the better Especially if they are local Mexican families
2:20 Legend has it that there is still booty on that beach.
Legend has it that you will always be a child.
Wow! You're cute!
