These have aged well. Love the sedans. Price wise, they're approaching what people are selling 90's honda chassis for. Hard pressed to find another car in the price range that offers practicality, motorsports roots, cost of ownership and reliability
I’m going to drive mine until it’s not worth anything and I’m not that mad about it
I’m looking for buy a 9th gen 14 or 15. Since yes, good old Hondas cost just as much.
@@joebarra1010same. I've had my '12 si for about 8 years now and have no motivation to get anything different. Very slightly modified, still reliable. It's a great car
The in cabin noise with that exhaust setup is near perfect, such a great tone
Thank you! I actually went through 4 exhaust systems on the car until I was satisfied. This setup does not disappoint!
@@shadtography thoughts on the full race exhaust?
@@igiooo4327 sounds good
Wow, probably my favorite 9th gen I've seen, so clean and well done.
Thank you, I appreciate that.
@@shadtography No doubt, saw you had an S2000 as well. Think I might pick one up soon too to combo with the civic, that thing is clean too.
😿
Beautiful 9th bro 👍🏾🔥 and 10 years with her??? Never let her go!
Thank you!
@@SarcasticComments23 it's for sale lol.
@@shadtography y
Still have mine also. I want to do some more to her though. 😍 looks good man!
🇻🇬
10 years and 100k miles on mine, agree super fun to drive although not the fastest and super reliable
It’s not super reliable or is?
@@kingkdot9789 I own one. Very reliable. They are pretty slow.
@elleris9298 lol my friend has a intake and cat back one. Dude it's so slow but fun 🤣love the little car super reliable.
Car sounds really good. Love the oem+ look of it too 🔥
Don’t worry because it’s not the fastest, you have fun with it and that’s the important
I remember meeting at LIJ hospital not too long back. I had the white two door 9th gen. It’s crazy I’m stumbling across your video now!
Thank you for watching man!
found this posted on the facebook page , glad i did man such a solid car and your exhaust setup is amazing!
Thank you
Not often do I see a 9th gen on 17x9's, and on the proper tire profile too! Usually, when I see a 9th on 17s it's always 235/45 or 245/45 and it always looks so ugly. Props to you, hopefully she see's another 10 yrs with you!
Thank you for the kind words!
Nice build bro, sounds and looks amazing!
Thank you!
I’m currently looking for a 2015 Si!
You will not be disappointed. I would enjoy it in stock form then get a catless downpipe, catback exhaust, flashpro and tune. It will be a completely different car. If you end up adding suspension components like a high quality coiliver setup and a larger rear sway bar with some sticky tires, handling will be an animal.
this is pretty much exactly what i want done to my 2012 coupe, different wheels obviously lol, i already have an intake and yonaka exhaust, cant afford to do anything else but thisssss is the perfect honda
It's tuned? So when you hit the dyno what are your numbers looking like?
HP?
Torque?
Solid Build! Man ! I own one barely modified. Sound sweet 🔥
Thank you!
Clean build man! Love it.
Really clean set up mate, do you have a rev match device/tune or do you do it yourself? they are crisp!
Thank you man. Rev match on this car is all the driver, no tune or a special device for it.
Builds like this are so clean to me now. I want to buy some wheels for my 10thgen I was a stance boy cambered wheels guy now i want a comfortable ride height with a meaty tire but idk what to run. Really wish i had money for te37's
Hey man if u don’t mind me asking what’s yur wheel and tire specs I need mine exactly like that please😭🙏
clean! love the sound!
Sorry for questions about your wheel specs because I know a lot of folks like to keep their secrets which is fine but what offset are you running? I’m new to the car scene and fairly new to the 9th gen community and I love the setup. I want the same/similar summer wheel setup hehe. Thanks for the build walk around. Beautiful car sir.
Wheel specs are 17x9 +34 with 245/40/17 tires. Fenders are rolled and I was running -1.5 camber front, -2.8 rear camber
@@shadtography wow! More than I expected. Thanks for the info man! Inspiration. Want my 9th gen to be as clean as yours 🙏
hey bro I loved your si build was wondering how u got your OEM rear HFP civic si coupe lip to fit?
Hey man, thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching. You need to trim the rear lip to make it fit. It's going to be a 80--85% fit at best unfortunately. Check out 9thgencivic.com, they have a thread about it somewhere
What gopro are u using? Very nice car!
Hero 8 black, thanks!
Excellent video, thanks for sharing, a query how much is the average fuel consumption of that vehicle? thanks. Excelente video, gracias por compartir, una consulta cuanto es el consumo promedio de ese vehículo de combustible? gracias
27-32mpg
Nice video bro I'm also first owner of 9thgen love the Volks
Car look stunning bro awesome taste
love the mph blur
Looks good ❤
Just ordered a set of Morimoto XB LED Fog lights for my 2015 Civic SI Sedan FB6.
Details on installing yours & how they work please..
Thank 👍 you!
You have to trim sections of the back of the fogs. The plastic bits that are pointy I believe. Then it will screw onto the existing fog light mounting points.
Thing is clean bro nice build
Geeeez when you started to press down the gas pedal I didn’t expect it to sound and get so aggressive. Im thinking of trading in my 09 civic ex for an si, but I want good MPG my question would be, whats your average MPG and how many times per week do you fill her up etc.
If you drive conservative, the car can achieve 29-31mpg with highway driving.
I usually have a bit of fun while driving and get between 26-30
Love the vid dude! I just got a 2015 si, planning on keeping it stock for now then might go a similar route, love how you did yours. Did you have any trouble with the rear lip or the coupe one fits even on the sedan?
It was a trimming/test fit type of process. It didn't fit perfect
Question regarding your exhaust setup: what diameter are the parts? From what I found everything is a different size. The RV6 pipe is 2.5”, the Q300 tubing js 2.75”, the vibrant 1042 is 3” inlet, and the vibrant resonator is 2.5”. Don’t all of the diameters have to match in order to be welded together? Thanks!
I believe the q300 piping is 2.75" but flanges were 2.5". The vibrant was fabricated by an exhaust shop with couplers/step downs I believe.
@@shadtography gotcha. Thanks for the response!
What exhaust did you say that you were running on the car????
RV6 catless downpipe, invidia q300 piping with a vibrant resonator and vibrant muffler
Beautiful car, I’ve got same color combination between wheels and body. But mines a 2015 coupe.
Also if it is ok to know, what wheel specs you have and did you rolled your fenders?
Thank you. 17x9 +34 with 5mm spacers. Fenders are rolled.
Hey man i noticed you used some sort of moulding for your feont lip and side skirts, what did you use? Any specific videos discussing this?
Honda OEM - part #08F03-SHJ-1200D
Available in black or gray.
@ thank you!
I really love the build. Who makes the steering wheel wrap that you have? Would love you get one for my 2015.
I had sent it out to Sweidit to get it reupholstered in alcantara. It's not a DIY wrap.
@@shadtographywas it pricey? How has it held up?
Every time you went over 60 you blurred the meeter 😂
Very clean build!
Thanks!
Ay man clean build! I have myself a 2013 Si Coupe and I was wondering where did you get that spoiler from because the 2013 coupes don't have them factory. Thanks man!
The civic si sedans came with them from the factory.
love it,so clean🔥
Thank you!
so clean. might have to get those side skirts
Thanks. Go for it!
@@shadtography are the hfp rears just the normal coupe ones fitted on? or are they custom
@@drewelry oem hfp civic SI coupe rears, needs modification for it to work. Look it up on 9thgencivic.com. Plenty of info there!
Very nice dude. I really like the rain guards at the top of your windows. What brand are they?
Thank you, these are OEM Honda 2013 civic sedan door visors
@@shadtography Okay great! Thanks man
You think the prices will drop? Seen one for 20k with 60k miles. Dont know if i should eat the cost and get one.
Mine is actually for sale with all modifications (no te37).I think that's a good price for 60k miles. Mine has 105k miles and I have it up for 17.5k
Hey nice setup. What is the bulb type for those projector headlights!!
There's 4 different bulbs in the headlight, which one are you referring to? Low beam = H11, High beam = 9005, Inner turn signal = 7440, Outer turn signal = 168/194. Please double check on 9thgencivic.com to confirm the sizes for UAE headlights.
What are the Wheel Specs / Wheel Size (offset and width)
17x9 +34, 245/40/17
Got it
Hi I love your build and want to try and do a little something with mine as well, I have a 2015 ex sedan and are interested in the rear lip you have for your car. But I can’t find it💔Is there anyway you could post the link for it?.
It's discontinued, need to find a set of the coupe hfp (Honda factory performance) si rear lip from 2012-2013 models and modify to fit the Si sedan.
off topic have you heard of any good coilovers for a 9th lx civic? I want to preserve the comfort of the car, just wanting to lower a bit. thank you man.
also, what do you think of the sedan coupe custom hybrid bumper. do you think you would ever do that?
I'm not sure about the lx, I would research on 9thgencivic.com. I don't plan on changing the bumper at all. The hybrid sedan/coupe bumper is cool though. My friend Gabe has it.
stock clutch/flywheel? sounds like no rev hang
Yes. The tune removes the rev hang
Just wondering how come you didn't upgrade the central screen unit to android auto or apple play unit
I liked how the factory head unit looked. Never found the need for it as well
Fresh civic
Thank you!
Did you order the alcantara steering wheel or did you just get it wrapped? I’ve been looking for one but have only seen the wrap. Thank you
I ordered it and paid for a new core so I can keep my stock steering wheel. Everything from sourcing the wheel to have it refinished and shipped was done by Sweidit.
Set up is so clean 🙌🏽 do you mind if I ask you the specs on the wheels?
In the description, 17x9 +34
@@shadtography my bad I didn’t check it, thank you
@@lancelot5593 no worries at all
Nice 😍
It looks so cute 😭
Been following your build for awhile man ever since you debut the Ikon motorsports front lip, still one of the cleanest 9ths till this day! Aside from your exhaust set up, still have the stock intake?
Thanks man. Yes, stock intake!
Hey that's my hometown man
Are the side skirts you have also compatible with the 2012 coupe si
I love the steering wheel to man I gotta know where I can get on for myself
Side skirts only fit sedan based on my understanding. Steering wheel is from Sweidit.
How did you do the rear hfp lip ? Heat molded?
Yes, wasn't a perfect fit.
Hey bro . The rear sway bar . Has that improved your handling ?
Yes. Must have.
@@shadtography did you install yours with load ? Or jus jacked car up and installed like that . I have the same rear sway bar waiting to get installed .
@@white9th193 I had my buddy install everything (coils + rear sway bar)
What sway bar measurements
does the civic si have spot weld like civic type r (fd2r)?
Not sure, might be a Google question lol
bro was trying to hide the over speeding😂😂
"Filmed in Mexico ☠️"
Where you get the rear lip from ???!? I wanna convert mines like that
I bought it used from an eBay seller. OEM is difficult to find now from my understanding. Replicas are out there, not sure about the fit on those
If I go 17x9 35 mm with coilovers would I have to do any modification or roll fenders to run this
It depends on your tire size
@ I want the best flush fit with a 17x9 on my fb6 I don’t mind what tire size it is as long as I don’t scrape or rub fenders. I don’t want to roll them or modify them want to keep the body looking stock. What do you think I also plan on adding bc coilovers first
@Illestvillian00 17x9, most likely need to roll fenders with any tire size that's proper. Do some research on 9thcivic to see what people run without rolling. I think usually 17x8 is fine, but you won't get a concave look in that size from the wheels.
@@shadtography I appreciate the information and like how you built your si! Happy NY. I will do some more digging but I do like how the 17x9 looks
Where did u get the headlights from. I Can't seem to find a trustworthy source or reseller
Check eBay. Type in UAE headlights 2013 civic. Make sure the front of the lens has a Stanley stamps and the rear plastic piece of the headlight has a Honda stamp to ensure it's authentic.
How many miles you have now ? And how is it maintenance wise?? Im picking up a 2013 si soon with 180k miles stock its whole life.
About 105,XXX miles now. Still reliable and maintenance is a minimum.
where'd you buy the steering wheel at?
Sweidit, message them on facebook
sweet honda
Thank you
where u get the hfp lip for the sedan, i don see them at all
It's not HFP, it's from Ikonmotorsports
@@shadtography thanks bro, I m assuming these are the 12-13 coupe one and u just make em fit?
Oh, my apologies as I thought you were talking about the front lip. Yes, the rears are OEM 12-13 civic SI coupe rear lip modified to fit the civic si sedan. They may be discontinued. Keep an eye out on the marketplace, forums for a set
How'd you apply the rear spats?
Double sided tape and a lot of heat to mold it to the shape of the bumper.
Hey, 2013 Si coupe owner here. Could you tell me whether you recommend the Vibrant 1042 muffler and the Vibrant ultra quiet resonator or would the muffler be enough to get a little bit more noise out of the exhaust?
Def go with the muffler first. However, the ultra quiet resonator is nice to remove any drone with 60-65mph so you can cruise on the highway at those speeds in peace.
@@shadtography Thanks bro! I’ll need that resonator then because I’m always on the highway. 👍🏼
@@m.r.i.a8813 no problem, good luck!
Thought I made out selling my si during Covid for big money, but now I regret it driving a boring TLX.

did u rolled ur fenders? or spacers
Yes, fenders are rolled. Spacers are on stock wheels (20mm) and 5mm on the te37.
